At the same time, I might well say your views may tend towards proving that maybe, just maybe, one can have one's head in just such an obviously uncomfortable position without being at all religious. Would suggest maybe one that has a similar view might be practiced and possibly more used to being in that position just by dint of preference.

I confess that to be opinion,certainly not derived by perusing scholarly studies, but just saying...

You should watch this week's presentation of Real Time. Bill Maher does a half minute kill on "Just Saying" though the best one is Walmart shoppers dress habits.

The mentions of "compromise" are interesting. What exactly has the House and Senate Republicans offered in exchange for chipping away at the ACA? Exactly nothing. The only supposed reward at stake is the House allowing the remainder of the legislative branch to actually fulfill its legal obligations.
And what has the Senate and Obama offered...not even that.

They can stuff it. ;)
