Democracy is what this country is all about. Americans vote and Americans vote for who we want our leaders to be, up to and including the president of the United States. Before voting, Americans learn and study the candidates and the nominees running in order to decide who they want to vote for, even if the candidates are less than perfect. In impeaching Trump and wanting to bar him from ever holding office again, Democrats want to subvert the will of the voters. Why are democrats so scared about Trump actually having the possibility of being president again? I thought the 2020 was the end all referendum on Trump being president and Biden won with the most votes garnered by a nominee in the history of the country and that the Republican party was dead forever? Don't democrats actually believe that? Are democrats so scared in American's ability to decide who they want to vote for? Why is it THEIR business to decide who will or will not be president instead of the American voter's business? Where has our democracy gone if Democrats feel they can dictate who cannot be president, against the will of what the voters would have decided (assuming that Trump could actually win again)? Is this Russia or communism where one party decides to squash any competition they deem to be a threat to their survival? Is that what we have here, a democratic election like Russia has, where one party rules and any competition is eliminated by them?
