It is unrealistic to think that either the left or the right will every be eliminated. To be realistic is to understand we must find a way to live together. End the hatred. Have meaningful conversations. Show respect. We can get more done when we work together, and our nation will be better off for it. I have my progressive views, but I do not expect everyone to agree. The thing to do is move beyond being judgemental. Listen to people. If they have a valid point then talk about it. It doesn't mean anybody is better or worse than the other.
