The Executive branch has the final say on immigration, regardless of what state it’s in.

It doesn’t matter, senator or not. Senators should not get special privileges when attending a press conference run by the executive branch. Senators are not kings.

NEVER admit an error. Defend everything even Donald's rape and fraud convictions and just keep screaming "unfair, unfair" without a single positive suggestion in the entire body. Deny, deny, deny, deny....

See the videos of the Stanley Cup riots in Vancouver. They so VERY POLITELY deploy an army and so politely ask the demonstrators to go home before they start splitting skulls.

It really is a masterpiece of policing.

Common courtesy would be to wait till she opened the floor to questions. Like how thousands of other press conferences are run. He had a temper tantrum not getting his way and was moved out side.

We are a very violent society. Always have been, especially around race and ethnicity.

Yeah.

Got that in an anti draft demonstration in 1967. Still have sore spots where I was beaten.

I left for Canada a few days later and have never looked back, never regretted anything including cutting ties to my high school mates

No clairvoyance necessary to interpret Padilla's actions. They're on video as is his follow on hypocritical news conference where he refused to take questions.

What does the American right have to do with my criticism of Padilla's provocation?

I'm sorry. Where I live he was assaulted! His attackers need to named, charged and tried so people can know what's what.

Who is to know whether they were PAID to beat him up?

As a journalist for nearly 3 decades I've attended a few thousand news conferences.

At dozens, I and other journalists began shouting questions as the individual was entering the room.

We're not there to get a ****ing merit badge. You call the news media to make any kind of announcement you follow THEIR rules and like it.

Rule number one. Don't try to piss off the press. They're already seething because your affecting their drinking time.

You have no friends in the press, and no one, not one of us can be trusted to not publish whatever because in the end it's what we do. We excel at being assholes.
