Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama['W:189]

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

Then why ya posting?

What an incredible speech he gave, going to be fun watching him destroy Obama. He has my vote although it won't matter since the people of TX are smart enough not to give the electoral votes to Obama and Obama will lose TX by 3 million votes.

Well, Well. That's interesting. It looks like someone thinks that West Virginia is pretty much definitely going red in 2012. Given the Obama Administrations' assault on the Coal industry, that's not entirely astonishing.

So... Dems are more open-minded than the GOP sheep.

The GOP can't think for themselves and are forbidden from voting their conscious.

Right, Haus, y'all are kickin' everyone's asses at minimum wage jobs and people with no health insurance.

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

Exactly. Shrub ... Perry....

So what exactly are your experiences with TX and understanding of the results here?

Amazing, isn't it, that you know better about the people of TX that overwhelmingly vote for those conditions. Ever think that just maybe the reports are wrong? Could it be that the minimum wage jobs aren't what you think they are nor worse off than other states? Naw, that couldn't be it as liberal arrogance always kicks in in that liberals know what is best for everyone else.

No, I don't think so.

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

No, I don't think so.

That seems to be the problem, you don't think. Do you actually believe the people of TX would be so supportive of the Conservative agenda if the results are what the MSM and liberals report? You don't think the reports are wrong? What makes you an expert on TX? Apparently it is liberal arrogance to know what is best for everyone else and you buy the media spin without verifying it. Do you know that more Californians are making minimum wage than Texans? Do you understand that more people in Illinois are on minimum wage than Texans? Of course not because the media only tells you part of the story with the rest being that neither California or Illinois pay Federal minimum wage but instead have their own. Try living in either state with their minimum wage vs. the Federal minimum wage in TX?

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

What I think is that the national statistics show that Texas leads the nation in low paying jobs and people without health insurance. AND I think that your lame effort to spin it is comical.

Wow I am so surprised!!!!!! People upset with obama! Who would have thought?

Of the 20 or so states that pays the Federal Minimum wage TX leads but there are states with higher numbers than TX as I pointed out. Do you know what the minimum wage is in California and Illinois and how would you compare living in those states on that minimum wage vs. TX? Amazing how you ignore that reality. explain to me why the people of TX don't see the state the same way as you do and why they continue to vote for the Conservative alternative?

You do not represent Texans so stop acting like you do.

The Texan votes support my position and are a better barometer than Adam's personal opinions

well its better to be employed with lower minimum wages and more minimum wage jobs than to be like the blue states, and the whole im holding out for middle income mentality, and then bragging about starting wages 1/2 higher than texas in states more than twice as expensive to live in.

Wow, when you get it wrong, you REALLY get it wrong!

Texas has a higher percentage of workers at or below min wage (14.7%) as compared to CA (4.0%) or IL (2.9%).

Texas has a higher total number of workers at or below min wage (550K) as compared to CA (174K) or IL (126K).

To top it off, both CA and IL have min wages ABOVE the federal level, TX is at the federal level.

Maybe you people in Texas need better sources of information.

Wow, where do you get your information? You simply don't have a clue. California doesn't pay Federal Minimum wage thus aren't counted so you are comparing apples to oranges and in fact California has more than a million California minimum wage employees than TX as does Illinois but that fact doesn't matter to a partisan.

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

yep those numbers are so accurate in terms of practicality:roll:,simply look at the cost of living in california compared to texas, then compare minimum wages, texas wins!!!!!

California minimum wage is 8.00 per hour compared to the national minimum wage of 7.25 an hour. Try living in California on 8.00 per hour and find out how many in California are trying to live on that wage, something liberals want to ignore. Illinois has a 8.25 an hour minimum wage and the same problem regarding cost of living as California

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

Don't bother me, I am watching the most classy lady introduce the next President of the United States, Mitt Romney. What a classy lady Ann Romney is and they will turn this country around bringing back the greatness of this country.
'they will turn this country around...'....good God, i hope not, not sure if i could deal with another round of rising unemployment, people losing their homes, the stock market crashing.....IF THAT IS WHAT YOU CONSIDER TURNING THE COUNTRY AROUND, NO THANKS....OBAMA '12, KEEP THINGS GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

Re: Dem Senator "Doesn't Know" if he's going to vote for Obama

Wow, where do you get your information?
Um, the BLS, it is called a"link".

You simply don't have a clue. California doesn't pay Federal Minimum wage thus aren't counted so you are comparing apples to oranges and in fact California has more than a million California minimum wage employees than TX as does Illinois but that fact doesn't matter to a partisan.
Um, CA pays above min wage, Tx pays at min wage, all are counted by the BLS.

It is worse than I thought, even when presented with the actual data, you can't read it. So much for the "media spin" noise, it doesn't matter what any media writes, you won't read it.
