You won't find these on your mother's Twitter account. Basically what we're seeing here are South Asians firing live rounds on black South Africans. (I presume most of the "defenders" are of Indian descent, although I heard one guy say, "Allahu Akbar!") I would sort of equate them to the Korean shop owners who defended their businesses during the 1992 Los Angeles riots. I say "sort of," because these guys aren't ****ing around. I guess they have long memories.

I have spent quite a few years in South Africa. The guy's accent is definitely Indian.

Obviously his words are disgusting but the South African Indian community have probably been one of the greatest sufferers from the looting and rioting by Zuma supporters.

Indians all over Africa have been unfairly discriminated against by black people. They were massacred in Uganda many years ago.

In my years in South Africa, I found them to be hard working and law abiding.

They don't deserve what is happening to them now, neither do the whites or the peaceful black people.

Unfortunately, many blacks there have little regard for law and order. This is why most of Africa is a sh*t hole.
