I'm sure there is no bias at work here and the man is a professional excercising his objective perspective to do what he feels is right. Professionals in gov separate their personal feelings from their professional obligations all the time.

Well, when you have Trump handing folks the hilarious premise of him not losing unless the election rigged, it shouldn't be surprising.

Who is Hillary Clinton making an equally stupid remark?

So unless you think this kind of stupidity is somehow a good thing, the sooner we're done with it the better. Lest all elections going forward will be spent trying to figure out if Voldemort secretly changed ballots and Klingons were intimidating voters at polling sites.

We carry on as though nothing has happened. It becomes normal. Democracy will not survive when one party in a two party system decides that anything and everything they do is okay, that the end justifies the means because the other side is dismissed with meaningful pejoratives like "corrupt".

And she was right. Trump won on election day and declared that he had one. Biden did not concede.

Do you REALLY think the MSM would have told Biden to concede? Seriously?

Do all of you really think a guy that gets 15 twentysomething females at a rally beat a guy that gets throngs of thousands?
 
Lets not get carried away. The overwhelming number of local or state republicans who have been involved in these county tabulations or the many state elected offices that oversee this process have been nothing but loyal to the counting of all ballots, and loyal to the process. They have spoken out time and again to lack of fraud, the lack of evidence, and the emptiness of these legal challenges under tremendous pressures. These two republican members of this certifying board are the exception, not the rule. If our GOP Congressmen and Senators like Graham and McConnell and the rest were half as brave and tenacious in defense of the process, as the local GOP who in charge of these ballots and decisions, have been across this country, Trump would probably already be allowing Biden into intelligence briefings and Corona briefings. These institutions and systems are holding pretty damn firm and there has been no violence.

Whitmer can spin it anyway she wishes but the truth is after a number of absentee ballot poll books were found to be "out of balance" in Detroit, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers failed to vote to certify the election results. Now the Republican Canvassers are willing to certify the rest of Wayne county but not Detroit because the poll books are not just a little off but a lot.

Edit-- This isn't just about Trump but also John James who was running for Senate seat in which Wayne Co. is part of. John James has not conceded his race because the margins were way thin and on Nov. 5th, his attorney said they were very concerned over the Detroit area.

The full context of Clinton's quote was to not concede out of fear Trump was going to mess up absentee voting. However, things played out a bit differently and Trump claiming victory despite that not being the case. I do wonder what all of this is going to mean for elections going forward; whether things will get better or worse.
