Is this what the left means by 'Social Justice'? That illegal immigrants and minorities get to commit whatever crime they fell like committing? This is part of a good start for Trump's deportation program. Let's hope they can keep it on the rails.
Boston ICE had similar success, and it's really exposing the dark side of blue state sanctuary policies. One deportee from Boston had -- I kid you not -- 17 convictions on various assault, battery, weapon, and drug charges. Think about that for a second, this man was:
- In the country illegally
- Tried and convicted on 17 felony charges, many of them violent crimes.
- Inexplicably, walking the streets of Boston.
This is how warped the left's thinking on immigration policy has become. After, say, the first conviction of a violent crime, no one -- not the cops, not the DA, not the judge -- decided to act on the thought "Maybe we should call ICE on this one?"
Dereliction of duty doesn't even begin to describe the MA justice system in this matter, and it sounds like MA does not stand alone in this regard.
... is bullshit. The number of sanctuary state thugs being deported over the last few weeks is evidence of that.^^^^This!
They care far more about their political opinions than they do public safety, that's for sure.Is this what the left means by 'Social Justice'? That illegal immigrants and minorities get to commit whatever crime they fell like committing?
You're really not getting this. First off, why is a man with 17 fresh felony convictions being released in the first place? Second, the request came in from ICE while he was detained. Local officials ignored it and decided releasing him back into the community was the the right thing to do.
They, like you, are far too indifferent to public safety.
Just think.Google is your friend.
ICE ERO Boston arrests Haitian gang member with numerous convictions
ICE officers from ERO Boston arrested Wisteguens Jean Quely Charles, a member of a violent Haitian street gang, in Boston Jan. 22. Charles’ convictions include multiple drug, weapons, and assault and battery crimes.www.ice.gov

If ICE fails to do their job and pick him up, what are the various jails to do, hold them indefinitely after their release date? Even ICE states the detain period is only up to 48 hours. They, like you, are far too indifferent to public safety.
Just think.
If Harris would have been elected this guy would still be committing crimes in Boston, and more of the same would be flooding the Southern Border, and permitted entry into the nation.
The nation is fortunate that the election results were what they were.
Post 43 does NOT address that comment of mine.See post 43.
The left cares more for their vacuous virtue signalling to each other than either public opinion or public safety. They care far more about their political opinions than they do public safety, that's for sure.
Round 'em up like cattle. What is this thread about? You never said.

LOL. Right. Sure. Someone with 17 convictions in a few years isn't showing any signs of stopping. This speculation is based on misinformation & disinformation & political decision making since January 20th.
It shows lack of understanding of ICE operations last year. Cuz the Dem machine has been lousy at feeding info to the public.
And the answer is, in no small part, due to the left's sanctuary policies.
Begs the question, why is a man with 34 fresh felony convictions is not in Prison but instead is sitting behind the Resolute Desk?
White colege educated Progressive women across the country are panicking over the prospect of having to scrub their own toilets.
Meanwhile their husbands are fretting over the shortage of young children to have sex with that's coming.
Dark days ahead for the left
LOL. Right. Sure. Someone with 17 convictions in a few years isn't showing any signs of stopping.
That's why this illegal alien with 17 convictions is walking around Boston instead of back where he came from.
How'd he get here? Insufficient border enforcement and lax migrant vetting.
Who put those in place? Biden / Harris and their radicals in their administration, from Myorkas on down.
Facts you don't like aren't 'disinformation'.You are still including disinformation in your analysis.
I already know the answer. Many MA officials have a standing order not to cooperate with US immigration. That is the essence of sanctuary policy. You'll have to ask the courts that question. What were those charges and what were the imposed sentences.
Correct, so we must judge whom to believe. And seeing as how non-cooperation is the stated policy in sanctuary communities, what reason do we have to believe this was anything other than Norfolk county acting on that policy? That is according to ICE. Norfolk County Sheriff's office said they notified ICE of his release date and their records show ICE said they could not pick him up. So it's now a "he said, he said" between ICE and Norfolk County.
No, you have that wrong. It's Norfolk county that has failed, failed in its obligation to protect its citizens. If ICE fails to do their job and pick him up, what are the various jails to do, hold them indefinitely after their release date? Even ICE states the detain period is only up to 48 hours.
Yes, it does.Post 43 does NOT address that comment of mine.
I have looked at the evidence posted in this thread. If you'd like to add to it, please do.Have you looked at & considered the number of deportations carried out last year?
Have you learned about at the serious staffing shortages within the immigration enforcement system?

Why keep BS=ing on this? Deporting these thugs is good policy, and Trump is right for enacting it.
We all know why the left is so protective of illegal immigrants.Wtf... are you OK?
We all know why the left is so protective of illegal immigrants.
I have just one question.
All the folks on here that want all the illegals to stay, how many of them have you volunteered to sponsor and put up in your home?
