DC Judge Lets 'Big Balls' Attackers Walk Free

He was!!! He was there and he was white so she was TOTALLY justified in feeling like she was being abused.

They plea bargained down to lesser charges. They were also involved in a separate gas station robbery earlier than evening.

The male pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and simple assault - and felony assault and a robbery at a nearby gas station in a separate incident. The female attacker pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of simple assault for pepper-spraying someone in the separate gas station incident - for which prosecutors agreed to drop the assault charge from the 'big balls' incident.

Plea bargain thanks to the criminal loving Democrats in DC. I expect these “youts” will be back in the criminal justice system many times. Just the DC and PG county culture.

And you believe that charges are proof of anything? Charges are, by definition, "unproven allegations."

It is amazing how quickly fascism poisons peoples brains into completely "forgetting" how our criminal justice system works.
 
This is why it is so easy to suggest liberals are soft on crime, all things considered this was an attempted carjacking that resulted in assault (the latter they plead guilty to.) 12 and 9 months probation, house arrest, and community service tells someone the consequences of being caught trying to repeat the crime are minor.

I am not suggesting years and years, but something more than going right home is in order here.

No, they were charged by the police. He was not. Different levels. Unless you are a dishonest liberal/leftist/progressive. But then the terms dishonest and liberal/leftist/progressive are redundant.

Being involved in one crime doesn't equate to being guilty of anything else you might be accused of later in the same day. Sure, you could rob a bank, but just because you got into a fistfight later that night doesn't mean you are automatically guilty in that instance as well.

Its probably a pretty safe bet that if they could have proven the carjacking claim, that wouldn't have been treated as gently as the assault charge was, which likely means they couldn't actually prove it.
