I'm surprised that the perpetrators of the real insurrection with their attack on the White House to assassinate Donald Trump were not prosecuted to the full extent of the law. First, I read the tweets and they are certainly anti-Trump...so what? Given what the right had to say about Obama, these are pretty tame by comparison.

Second...as the right is so fond of saying...jail isn't supposed to be fun.

Third, remember the jail of Arpaio? The right didn't have a problem with that...

Fourth...as the right is also fond of saying...if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Fifth, the right doesn't have a problem denying prisoners their religious and various other rights....so why care now? Oh, right, because most of the prisoners charged with crimes are white and should have special treatment because they are white...silly me, I forgot.

Lastly, don't you guys on the right want legislators who will actually...legislate? One doesn't need to be on a committee to be a co-sponsor or a sponsor of a bill, or even to go out to the media to garner support for legislation they support. The big thing missing from MTG's claims is evidence of the 'crime' she claims has occurred. So far all we know is that the warden doesn't like Trump supporters (assuming the tweets are real). Not exactly a crime, even if expressed in vulgar terms. Where are the photos of prinoners being tortured etc. Maybe 'torture' in MTG's world means they can't get their favorite brand of coffee in the morning?

No FOX! No razors (on suicide watch, probably) but I don't believe for a minute that these prisoners are being beaten regularly by guards. The very first whisper of such a thing, the slightest bruise seen by an attorney, and the roof would have blown off the DC jail. Btw, the part of the jail that was evacuated due to plumbing and other issues is NOT the wing housing the Jan 6 prisoners.

I read both of the articles, and I couldn't see a single thing in K's tweets that was out of line. Typical liberal stuff. It's a friggin shame that because MTG has nothing more useful to do with her time, Landerkin had to close her account.

We live in a free country that allows people to disagree politically. This jail administrator is a professional (more than I can say for MTG) with many years of experience and she knows her brief is to keep all inmates secure but safe and healthy. She isn't giving orders to torture anyone.

Yet another intensely stupid 'cause' by MTG. Maybe Landerkin should sue Motor Mouth for slander.
