America is a melting pot, it always has been. Actually, I could easily argue that liberals don't even respect that. To the most part the only real difference between a pro-choice individual and a pro-life individual is that pro-choice individuals allows it under more situations. They both strike a balance in between allowing her to practice her right to her body and the unborn. The only real difference there is that the pro-choice individual argues that the unborn is worthless for 24 weeks and the other side argues they have value throughout the entire pregnancy and therefore argues to restrict her choices more. Neither side hates women and anyone even slightly aware of the debate would be aware of that fact.

On the topic of body sovereignty, it strikes me as interesting that liberals will argue that we have a right to control our bodies in the abortion debate, but on any other topic they argue that it is our interest for the government to control what we put in our bodies or what we do with our bodies. When was the last time a liberal argued against any form of regulation that dealt with prescription drugs? Hell, when was the last time they argued against prescription drugs? Oh right, controlling what drugs we can take and where we can get them isn't controlling us. :roll:
