Beyond just the way they are being dragged out of their homes and workplaces and even courthouses without a shred of human dignity we now have them and the cons on SCOTRUS working to make their lives as cruel as possible. The court is deciding to allow the Trump administration to send illegals to "third countries". One of the places they want to send illegals to is Sudan where the illegals do not know the culture or the language. Might as well just line them up against a wall and shoot them as it would be better than what they will go through if they are sent to Sudan. I have no problem with sending them back to their country of origin if they would not be in danger there. That would be those who came here just for what many call " a better life". I would object sending them to a country where they do not know the language or the customs and dumping them as that is just plain cruelty. Maybe that is what the cons in this country want, the act of cruelty to make themselves feel powerful.

This is any different than typical felony arrests or bench warrant execution?

What’s happening right now feels similar to learning that draconian punishments were being dealt to anyone violating the 55 mph speed limit signs on the highway by even 1mph.

I mean, yeah, it’s illegal technically. But something requiring this level of drama seems unwarranted. There is something else going on which under lies this level of drama.

Yeah .... Xenophobia and extreme Racism are going on, which underlie this level of drama, not to mention the abject cowardice of those involved in perpetrating the drama.

Nether does DHS, but that’s not always possible if their (alleged) country of origin won’t allow it.

Ever been arrested? It isn't meant to be fun or nice. We have an enormous amount of illegals in this country. This is why it never should have gotten this far but it has. Removing them will take over a decade.

It is not just immigrants. Part of what made me not only abandon Republicanism but conservatism as an ideology is that it forces you to accept dispassionate cruelty and miserliness as a matter of policy and interpersonal relationship with your fellow citizens. Workers are expected to receive cruelty and disrespect. The poor. The downtrodden. The needy. You are expected to be cruel or at best indifferent to all of them. You are expected to remain armed and vigilant at all times in order to be ready to kill your fellow citizens at a moment's notice.

It is ultimately an anti-social ideology that is pushed by very-rich, very antisocial people who despise all of us, including the conservatives/libertarians that they have brainwashed through decades of rightwing media capture into believing in conservatism/libertarianism.

Are you sure the consequences will all be positive? You’re making it sound like the presence of these immigrants created only bad consequences, and the situation needs to be cleaned up so everything will be better.

But are you sure? I suspect prices will go higher, and the economy will slow down quite a bit. Not sure this is going to be an all-positive move like you seem to think.

Kinda hard to accidentally cross a border. They know what's going on as soon as they do it.

It may not be positive. Many of our laws and actions aren't. Our foreign policy is a multidecadal horrendous disaster. Still it's the law and our security does still matter. As I recall we have a pretty generous immigration quota already.

I think the idea that we should pick and choose the laws we want to follow is excellent, said nobody ever.

A procrustean approach to immigration was going to create as many problems as it attempted to solve….

Awww, I think you need a Snickers bar right now.

THere is a difference between insuring that laws are followed and being Cruel to those who have broken the law. Isn't there a rule against cruel and inhuman punishments snd how arrests are supposed to happen. Sending someone to a country that they do not know the customs and cannot speak the language seems to me to be both cruel and inhuman. Ice just arrested an older illegal whose three sons are all Marines. They actually pulled his shoulder out of its socket arresting him. He is 5'6" and under 150 lbs.

There are countless numbers of laws on the bookbooks that aren't followed. And no one is supposed to enforce the ones that are with such sadistic brutality.

Yes, due process, having a chance to get a lawyer, defend, and appeal...you know, good stuff. Also, not being tortured by foreign agents on foreign soil, without any chances of ever getting out.

The minor stuff!!!!
