I'm looking to buy a new album so I thought if fellow listeners gave their top 6 at the moment it would help me choose. For me it's:

1) Montgomery Gentry - where I come from

2)Dwight Yoakham - it won't hurt*

3)Toby Keith - I like girls who drink beer/I love this bar/Whisky girl. Can't decide which one*

4) Steve Earle - Devils right hand*

5) Lady Antebellum - Need you know

6) Jackson Taylor - Tonight

shania twain ,melissa etheridge ( l remember some songs of her )

I like

Band Perry

Thompson Square

Carrie Underwood (Two Black Cadillacs)

Blake Shelton

Lee Brice (I Drive Your Truck)

always liked Gary Allan (Every Storm Runs Out of Rain)

This is a very small list since I love country music. Mainly ones I've heard and can think of off the top of my head that have fairly new releases out that I like.

I fundamentally despise country music - but a few songs actually impacted me and I've saved them in my permanent collection of songs that reflect my "history" in music.

Border Lord - Kristofferson (the whole album is pretty good)
Della and the Dealer - Axton
King Of The Road - Miller
Road to Hell - Rea
She Can't Say That Anymore - Conlee
Spin Of The Wheel - Axton
Some Days Are Diamonds - Sheppard

Or at least I think these are country music. I may be wrong.

I don't like most country, but have always liked Shania Twain. I also love Alison Krauss, who's actually bluegrass, but close enough for me.
