Could the US be the next to revolt?

I doubt people will revolt as long as they have food and hope. In the US, while we are down, those two things are still in abundance.

if you think that there is no reason to demonstrate for ,I give you this :
Statistics on poverty &
food wastage in America

Poverty in America? One of the richest countries in the world?

Yes, poverty is a reality in America, just as it is for millions of other human beings on the planet. According to the US Census Bureau, 35.9 million people live below the poverty line in America, including 12.9 million children.

Some Statistics on Poverty in America

so your stomach may be full of food now this is why you forget poor and hungry people in usa ,but now you may have a reason to revolt for ,OK ???

The US has been the worlds leading economy for decades.

We are now recovering from a recession, but the quality of life in the US is better than any of the countries you named, regardless of income. Egypt and Pakistan are basically economically poor dictatorships, so I find the comparison to the US absurd.

Don't make me laugh. Do you see massive rioting in the streets?

The US is doing alright. Take a look at Egypt and the US, see the difference?
Yes I could see the difference between brave egyptitian people seeking for real democracy away from american support to dictatorship & a sleepy paralyzed drunken usa people live in a empty democracy .

The people of the US are not idiots. Our system has provided a wonderful standard of living and so we are smart enough not to resort to babarity... Of course there are exceptions on the far left, but idiots will be idiots.

Some things are worth fighting for
"The battle, Sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, Sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable; and let it come! I repeat, Sir, let it come!"

(also OP's original point is quite ridiculous)

Meh...the response to protestors in this country would simply be "hey, get off your ass and stop expecting others to provide for you, you whiney little bitches."

Why the **** would I revolt when I have a near limitless supply of porn and buffalo chicken wings?

Only in America can that dream come true. Only in America.

The "poor" in America typically have a house or apartment, air conditioning or central heating, TV's, and often a computer with Internet, and maybe a car of some sort. They don't usually go hungry unless they spend the grocery money on meth or beer.

The poor in Tunisia and Egypt WISH they could be "poor" in America.

your peolpe are clever only in crticising others, while your fake democracy is quite weak .if your people are brave enough they may revolt to change inequality in the community .

Hmmm. Americans like to revolt. We've done it lots of times... Revolutionary War, Civil War, and most recently during the civil rights revolution of the 1960's. Of course, we don't have a king, like you do. Then again, we didn't want one. That was kinda the point of our first big revolt.

Edit: I just read the rest of the thread, and realized you were just trying to be nice and share your kool aid with the rest of us. Everybody else saw this and had better answers than I did. Funny answers. I don't do funny well. I drank the kool-aid. I'm so ashamed. :(

Moderator's Warning:
This, of course, is an attempt to provoke American posters by questioning their courage and insulting their country. It is arguably baiting/trolling and I'm giving thought on whether to infract this post as such. Meanwhile, you might want to take some thought on moderating your tone a bit, or at least posting things of greater substance with purposes other than simply being inflammatory. Take this as a warning.

I'm calling out a biased mod. I don't see warnings when "American" posters bait/flame/troll other countries and their nationals.

Edit: BTW I'm American.

Who are they mad at? Themselves for not being ambitious enough? Themselves for not taking school seriously? Themselves for staying at a dead-end job when they knew it was a dead-end job? Maybe they will revolt against themselves, and get off their ass and stop claiming they are victims.

People are so use to having someone to blame, in the U.S. we still have a lot of the population looking to blame others....all the while the reality that they are free to do what they want stares them in their ignorant face.

Typically the 'good' protests that occur on American soil are organized by unions, lobbies, and other such entitites. During the economic summit, during both parties political conventions, people flew in from around the globe to protest. We arent talkign about a groundswell of poor people revolting against the government. most of them are quite content to allow the fed to feed them and shelter them and take care of them.

revolution is built into American Democracy. we call it "voting".

its a new idea, Bang... btw.. what authoritarian nation do you live in?

geo.

Don't forget the Disney Company.

None of these entities would survive 30 seconds with Chuck Norris. He's too powerful and skilled. Did you know that Chuck Norris can parallel-park a freight train?
