Colin Kaepernick had every right to sit down during the Pledge

Not about the flag? Do you know what the name of the Untied States of America National Anthem happens to be? Here's a clue: I wrote it above the lyrics. **SMH**

So, the National Anthem is racist? Tell me where the racist portion might be? I hope you're prepared to discuss this from an educated standpoint and not simply based on a single word in the third stanza.

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave."

"hireling and slave" refers to black slaves hired to fight on the side of the British during the War of 1812:

Yep, at least Kapernick is getting people to talk. I think he should use another avenue, but whatever. They never played the national anthem at games until WWII, and that was just to gin up and create patriotism.

He's an idiot boy whose just drawing attention to himself because he's mad at management. If he wants to protest, then he can take some of his buddies to a real protest and make his case and show support. He's punching the whole team in the nose and showing everybody why the 49ers should have left him with his ass hangin out the breeze.

People are in a uproar over this young man yet we have two presidential candidates: 1. That should be in jail and call blacks super predators. She's committed crimes that would land any normal person in prison

and..

2. Someone that is openly racist.

Where our are priorities?
