CNN desperately tries to rehabilitate Kyrsten Sinema, by allowing her to blatantly lie to their face.

No, the lead is that you claimed America “made Saddam”, and that’s laughably untrue.

They aided him in his atrocities, giving him the means. Hence, they facilitated him, by definition. It helps to have friends in high places.

Furthermore, US aid was to keep Iran from overrunning Iraq, and only started(along with much larger scale French and Russian aid, but gee, somehow progressives never notice that) after his invasion had failed.

You do realize that America doesn't own the Middle East, right?

Saddam invaded Saudi Arabia as well. The point is that he saw weakness and, much like hundreds of two bit tyrants before him, tried to exploit that.

What about the tyrants in Saudia Arabia?

You being totally okay with a regime conducting forty years of mass torture and terrorist attacks(and killing Americans to boot) “because Saudi Arabia” is pathetic.

I'm not okay with killing a million civilians, creating instability and migrant crisis across the entire Middle East to take down a thug on par with a Saudi royal. Especially one America helped to create.

By that “logic” the US facilitated Stalin’s atrocities because we supplied him with vast amounts of equipment.

You do realize that Iraq doesn’t belong to Iran....right?

If the Iranian regime killing Americans is totally fine, why on earth would anyone care about Saudi Arabia?

The idea that Saddam staying in power wouldn’t have led to a Syria esque shitshow is pretty laughable, and last time I checked approximately 99% of the Saudi Royal family, unlike Saddam, wasn’t busily committing genocide.

Once again, claiming America “helped create Saddam” is flat out WRONG. Saddam came to power on his own merits.

Certainly they did if they knew the weapons were going to be used in atrocities, as they did with Saddam.

Sure.

You seem to care an awful lot more about the American killed by Iran than the Iraqis killed by Americans.

Absolutely America helped create Saddam Hussein. If he wasn't armed by America, he wouldn't have had the capacity for killing that he did.

And yet progressives urged for the weapons to be sent(which, of course, was the right thing to do). Does that mean progressives are complicit in Stalin’s atrocities?

You certainly care a lot more about Saddam then you do about the vast number of people he tortured and or murdered.

Cool story, none of which changes the fact that most of the Saudi Royal family is totally peripheral and doesn’t have any say in that.

And, as I already pointed out, that’s a complete lie. Saddam rose to power on his own under General al-Bakr. He seized power by crafting a ruthlessly efficient internal security force. America had nothing to do with it.

So the fact that 10% of Bernie bros wound up voting for Trump means that Trump's policies were closer to theirs than the democrat's policies were?
Those people were the worst.

The saudi royal family is even now engaging in genocide.

Most of the Saudi Royal family is totally peripheral and doesn’t do much of anything. It’s a really big family, and only a fraction have anything to do with the actual governance.

:ROFLMAO: Im sorry what? The ruling ****ing family of saudi arabia has no say?

Bullshit lol. They are directly complicit in those atrocities.

There are fifteen thousand members of the Saudi royal family. Most of them don’t play any role in governing the country.

Bullshit lol. They are directly complicit in those atrocities.

Again, only a fraction of the Saudi royal family actually is involved in running the country, and even amongst them there’s significant opposition to MBS

Our strategy will probably be the same as 2020. Do not bother counting on the progressives, and go after the middle.
Good luck fighting the republicans… the center lost us one of America’s best banking regulations (glass steagal) its had and a shrinking middle class and the vanishing new deal.

Bernie won the policy debate but, people voted on this 3D chess move of voting who they think other people would vote for.

The right candidate, young, progressive will emerge and connect with America. But until they do we will have to suffer through the Buttigiegs and Kamala’s

Well we were facing up against a greater threat. I dont mind a biden presidency. It buys time.

i don’t mind it either but if he loses to Trump in 24 going to unravel the entire purpose of his 20 campaign
I don't think he'll run in 24. I don't think Kamala will be the candidate either.

Sinema and Manchin are ALEC DINO's most likely of the Democratic Leadership Council which is Koch and nothing about it is Democrat much less moderate or progressive.

They are DINO's!!!!!!

CNN is a joke, and so are Democrats.

So you mean they act like Foxnews? And their slavish attitude to republican and conservative liars? They went all schoolgirl Justin Bieber fan for Trump. And did everything to smear any republican who did not fall to the ground in front of Trump and lick his shoes.

I am one of those bros.

But, the numbers aren’t there. Not for Stein voters anyway. If u give HRC all the stein voters she still loses.

I’m saying HRC was awful and lost of her own demerit

You voted for Trump?
