Cloning is well known, but I never personally thought about cloning a pet. If you have that dog that is just awesome, given that they also die so young, would you ever consider cloning them?
On the one hand I think it's amazing and wonderful, on the other I feel if I loved my dog, I would in some strange emotional way, want them to stay unique. I would feel maybe like I was betraying them by "rebooting" their DNA. I definitely have no ethical reason to want anyone else not to do it (or religious!). What say you?
