First off this is not a war. Bush didn't have the balls to ask for, and Congress did not issue a declaration of war. Secondly joining the military doesn't mean you agree to being sent to fight in a private squabble for the president's family. Especially when you consider our real enemies are not being touched while we play this tragic game in Iraq.
Secondly, you did not call her a bitch, but other Bushites here have several times. The GOP seems to have completely lost the ability to discuss ANY issue sans invective. From Lee Atwater to Michal Savage it has rolled downhill.
The fact that other mother who have lost sons do not agree with her, some do, some don't is irreverent to her right to protest. She has every ground to protest what is going on in Iraq. No declaration of war, the 9-11 Commission itself says Iraq had no meaningful ties to al-Qaeda and 9-11, there were no WMD's, and no nuclear program. The Saudis are getting of scot-free. OBL and company are still roaming the earth because the vast majority of our efforts are being sucked up by the morass that is Iraq. Our real enemies are laughing while Bush tries to avenge his father.
What part of the 1st amendment don't Republicans understand? Oh, all of it.
As a republican, we understand many things, first being plausible options, such as democracy, and the most receptive countries in the M.E, Iraq being number one!
Secondly, war is not the issue here, nor has it ever been. This is a weak country, soured by sanctions, and a regime that lacked the effort in which to to take care of the masses under their control. They were the most logical choice for a base of operation, and one that may very well become a important ally, either way, we are deployed, and we are surrounding a very important target, how very dim witted of us all.
Next, you speak of unwarranted invasions, and lack of evidence in which to proceed, then in the same breath, you mention Saudi Arabia, what was their crime exactly.....oh that's right, their number one son was from there, I guess that's evidence enough for a full scale invasion, and you have little Resistance to that conflict?
Now, what exactly does this war afford anyone in the Bush family, Oil? The Bush family has been out of oil for sometime. Oh wait, I know, Halliburton.....no, Cheney sold that stock the minute he took office. I wonder what this great treasure is you people keep talking about, I am at a loss personally?
This is partisan, no surprise there, I hate who Bush supposedly loves, and I don't mind killing them, just don't stop the other guy from killing that guy, because that guy does not fit my agenda. That about covers it right? Or this one, why not somewhere else, there are other places that need saving, but they to would be under the microscope, it never ends, it really never ends.
As for Cindy, pfffft, she hardly enters in to this important discussion at all, she is more then irrelevant, she is down right invisible in the grand scale of things.
