One thing you're forgetting is the wife and how she want this to play down. Do you not think she'd have a say?
I think this has more implications than what we're seeing. Though the story just broke a deal behind scenes was most likely brokered days ago during the election. I'm sure heads of Agencies, State, and the Pres Chief of Staff were involved.
Yet, Clinton served out his term did he not?
Clinton was not convicted at his impeachment trial as President of the United States. He was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999.
Yeah, I just heard that but Fox was making it sound like he was somehow responsible for Libya also. An affair OMG he's like half of all the married people out there.
I also can't see a man of his age bothering with something like an affair... he is 60 years old.
I don't know which way to go on this one...
I can see why having an affair would cause problems being the CIA director...national security and all.

1. He is the CIA Director. He could have been blackmailed.CNN says he resigned because of an extramarital affair. That's just baffling to me, because 1) he isn't a politician or someone who generally faces public scrutiny for that sort of thing, and 2) he could've just resigned anyway after the election as many cabinet officials do, without giving any reason at all.
There's gotta be more to this story than meets the eye...
Key word "could". And this "could" of situation is based off of not facts.1. He is the CIA Director. He could have been blackmailed.[
No proof on this either.2. He may have come clean to ensure he will never be blackmailed.
Oy vey.Key word "could". And this "could" of situation is based off of not facts.

Oy vey.
1, 2, 3...
HE COULD HAVE BEEN BLACKMAILED.
He could have... been ... blackmailed.
He... could... have... been... blackmailed.
Capiche?
There is something very fishy about this, first hitlary says she is leaving and now Petraes bugs out. Somehow all this links to the Benghazi affair.
Half the people out there aren't chief of the CIA.
Like i said a bunch of "could"'s based off of no facts.
No, there's a different standard for the head of the CIA. I know you know that, but the opportunity to take a shot at Clinton and the Democrats was just to tempting to pass up, right?

Bush could of knocked down the towers. Anything "could of" happened. But see your making your accusations based off of no facts.Fact is genius... He Could Have Been Blackmailed.
Coulda...Fact is... he had an affair.
Fact is... He is CIA Director.
Fact is... someone could have blackmailed him.
noI'm curious. Is English your first or second language?
Come back to me when you have some facts. Cuz im not buying into this "could of" whole situation. If it's not your first... then I can understand. If not... then I cannot understand how you could miss this.
Let me put it another way... He was open to blackmail.
Capiche?
I'm just not sure why he resigns because of an affair. Hell, Clinton had an affair in the oval office and didn't resign...and he was the president. Why is the CIA director stepping down over it?
