Christian Extremist Says His ‘Righteous Anger’ Made Him ‘Confront’ Women for Wearing ‘Pornographic’ Bathing Suits

Man tells teens their bikini-clad beach bodies are pornography
THERE is the evidence, the folks like Dorn, and other righteous religious nuts, KNOW that a woman who looks like that would be beyond them, hence the hatred for AOC.

If he’s such a devout Christian, why doesn’t he do what Jesus said to do when his disciples came to him concerned that the appearance and dress of women was enticing them to sin: blind himself?

When did people start worshipping Jesus? I thought God the Father ran the ship.
God is too abstract for them. With Jesus, they can worship the embryo.

A Christian extremist flouting what he calls his “freedom of speech” is refusing to apologize to several women he harassed at a beach by telling them “the truth” that in his estimation their bathing suits were “pornographic” and not appropriate. The man says he felt a “righteous anger” and a “boldness by the Holy Spirit to go in to confront” them.

A viral TikTok video posted by one of the young women, Mia, in Fort Collins, Colorado shows the man Newsweek says is Logan Dorn, telling them they are “flaunting your stuff,” and “your whole body is showing.”

The women repeatedly urge the man to leave them alone, but he responds by saying, “Here’s the thing, there’s free will in America, there’s freedom of speech,” apparently unaware that that First Amendment activity also protects how people choose to dress.

The women tell Dorn, “why are you looking at me. Close your eyes,” “I’m not flaunting anything, don’t look at me,” “please go,” and “get the f*** away.”

Dorn tells them to “take young eyes into consideration,” while calling their appearance, “pornography.”

Then he starts to attack transgender people.

“People, you know, don’t even know their gender anymore. People don’t even know. You know, they can go from, you know, if you’re, if they’re born a male they can be a female, if they’re born a female that can be a male, you know, society is really jacked up, and I’m going to continue to stay on the word of truth I’m gonna continue.”

“There’s a longing deep in your soul, that only Jesus can satisfy,” Dorn concludes.

Oh the horror, his legs and arms are showing!!
Ooh come on, he just was angry because those kinds of women are TOTALLY out of his league. Also he is a total snowflake that needs to get a hobby rather than harassing women.

We knew this would happen. The Taliban is inspiring American crazies, the GQP, religious nutters, social misfits, the willfully ignorant, Congresswoman Bobert’s 2020 GED graduation class, the Christaban, full time morons and anti-vaccination fascists.

This is the new normal.

Not familiar with your source. Are you bored way up there in the tundra?

Okay, first of all I see nothing necessarily "Christian" about this. It sounds more akin to dated sentiments which have been heldover from the Victorian era.

Even in the Bible, nudity isn't automatically "pornography", as per Adam and Eve and all that. And if we're bringing the Bible into it, there's very little actual text about the topic or the sociological issues of modesty.

That's not entirely true, but from the pictures, there was nothing that qualified as "indecent exposure" or such under the law that I'm aware of.

Now that's American by God.
Nope, just a fit woman in a bikini. Nothing "American" about it anymore than a guy in a speedo.

Ooh come on, he just was angry because those kinds of women are TOTALLY out of his league. Also he is a total snowflake that needs to get a hobby rather than harassing women.
Lmao. A woman is out of your league just because she decides to wear a bikini? No hard feelings, but that post screamed "virgin with rage" so much I had to comment. Don't take that literal or personal.

He could have just picked up his stuff and left if he was so offended. Personally I think his actions were an excuse to get a closer look at some pretty girls he didn't know how to approach.
My thought exactly.

It is an interesting topic. Why women wear such provocative swim attire. I have mixed feelings
First, not all women wear provocative swimwear. Second, the sociological topic of modesty and where the "fine lines" are is rather nuanced and complicated (which is one of the reason why just posting shirtless pictures of muscular men as a counterpoint won't cut it).

It's been said that modesty is a universal social concept, but standards and degrees vary quite widely among cultures, with some cultures, such as Islamist societies taking it to harsh extremes (such as viewing a woman uncovering her face or wearing lipstick as "pornographic).

As far as "provocative swimwear" goes, basically every fashion choice by men or women is just done for some type of personal or aesthetic expression. Whether swimwear or the powdered wigs that the American colonists wore. (In some cases, people might not even have enough self-awareness to understand why they do it or want to do it to begin with.)

And from there, determining where it crosses the line from "tasteful" or acceptable into "bad taste" or "immodest" is a different ballpark entirely. This is true about personal fashion as well as the arts, such as the differences between tasteful nudity (like that of renaissance artists) and pornography. I think that's about all that can be articulated on this for now.

might it be that it is actually his inability to get an erection?
If we're talking about sociological definitions of modesty and taste, then no "erections" have nothing to do with it, because they're not a component of rational human thought.

Plus, if the internet is any indication, then people can apparently "get erections" to pretty much anything - including stuffed animals. So by that logic, then stuffed animals are automatically "pornographic". Lmao.

Sorry, but this is another "virgin with rage"-sounding post I just feel the need to chime in on. I don't think you even have enough layman's understanding of female anatomy to even begin trying to describe how "a woman looks" with any convincing level of seriousness.

I think that his righteous anger is actually an erection.

here he is with his fiancé. i've also included a picture of when his fiancé would have been considered a slut...

Dorn (pictured with his fiancée Mariah) was fired for violating the companies values of faith, respect, integrity, and truth. Dorn has claimed people have accused him of being an 'abusive father' since the video went viral, but he claimed he doesn't have children and is in a loving relationship with his fiancée

First, how old is this story? If it was posted in Ft. Collins, it would seem that this was taken in summer weather. So did the poster sit on it for 6 months or what?

Second, whenever it happened, the female in your image looks like she has a fantastic figure...and pretty too. The only sin I see is that we don't get enough to properly access how "sinful" she was - might we coax the source into providing us with more "evidence" ... purely for academic reasons, of course.

His skinny jeans are causing me righteous anger.

I think his fiance will satisfy the standards of physical attraction which seem to be prevalent here.

Okay, but I don't think Iranian standards are worth taking seriously to begin with. If anything, I'd use something akin to a classical Greek or Roman ideal as a reference point and then debate from there. Especially given that a lot of it is heavily contextual, and not simply about "nudity" or even "sex" in a vaccum.

(Just as one example, my understanding is that depictions of sex which are considered "educational" are exempt from being defined as "pornography" even if they both depict physical acts).

next time they go to the beach i hope they take bear spray and give this guy a face full if he harasses them again.
Okay, so I didn't read the whole thing, but as far as I'm aware up to this point, it was an obnoxious sales pitch which never legally escalated into harassment.

If a man wears skinny jeans, it means he's done something terrible to a woman. Terrible enough that he must put those things on at her demand.

Non sequitur. If we're talking sociological definitions of modesty and taste in regards to fashion, then Freudian speculation about the "why" such and such a person dresses like this or that has nothing to do with it.
