How is giving money to a group of people who state that they dont believe homosexuals should have the same rights as heterosexuals not funding bigotry?
They have the SAME rights, they just don't have DIFFERENT rights except in six states and DC. The SSM debate is NOT about keeping things the SAME it is about making them DIFFERENT, thus the SSM debate is about CHANGING marriage laws not about KEEPING THEM THE SAME. This may seem a "minor detail" to you, but it is not to the state legislators that must represent their constituents in order to remain in office. One only needs to compare the turn out of Wednesday's CFA "eat in" to that of today's CFA "kiss in" event to see the CLEAR difference in the numbers involved in each position. Just a little tidbit for you to consider: Chick-fil-A 'kiss' day marred by 'Tastes like hate' graffiti - latimes.com
Profits. Ever since all this bull**** started, they have been packed full of customers day and night.
Not true, they close at 10pm sharp.
.it simply means that you have the right to speak your mind.
You obviously have no clue what my political beliefs are, let alone what I'll remember, so just stop embarrassing yourself with these stupid assumptions. It's pathetic.
Chick Fil a isn't a government entity, and therefore has no power over the People of the United States.
Demanding professionalism from elected officials, and staying within the boundaries of office are pretty radical ideas these days for some reason.
And supporting a flip flopping dictator in the process.
Now you're just getting emotional. You need to simmer down if you expect this conversation to continue. You remember every stupid little thing some politician does, and continue to be butthurt by it for years? Bull****. You are absolutely, 100% lying.
So do a lot of people. Section 3 of DOMA is still going to fail, so if Cathy wants to waste his money, that's his problem.Chick-Fil-A funds organizations which lobby the federal government for a pro-discrimination agenda.
I was thinking more along the lines of firing him for his corruption, and possibly fining him for certain acts, but keep twisting my words into the worst possible extremes. You're only discrediting yourself. I see absolutely nothing radical about expecting professional behavior from elected officials, especially when officially addressing the public. It's pretty radical to expect them to behave like perfect gods instead of human beings who say dumb things. If you really think that Rahm Emanuel should be imprisoned for making a rash comment, or that Rick Perry should be imprisoned for treason for half-jokingly threatening to secede, then you are a completely irrational and impractical person.
No, still talking about Rahm Emmanuel.I see. So now we're going to randomly rant about Obama rather than discussing the subject at hand. How fun.

I love how bigots always try to claim "persecution" whenever they are forced to live with the consequences of their stupidity and ignorance.
Free Speech doesn't mean the freedom to live without repercussions....it simply means that you have the right to speak your mind.
700,000 Facebook followers at Chic Fil A are driving this story according to the local news ...
and YES ITS A CIA PLOT
OK. That was fuuny.
All of this stupid drama over a man's opinions.
God forbid some CEO state an opinion against abortion.
