Earlier this month, the 2022 Nobel Physics Laureate Dr. John Clauser slammed the ‘climate emergency’ narrative as a “dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people”. Inevitably, the punishments have begun. A talk that Dr. Clauser was due to give to the International Monetary Fund on climate models has been abruptly cancelled, and the page announcing the event removed from the IMF site.

Dr. Clauser was due to speak to the IMF’s Independent Evaluation Office this Thursday under the title: “Let’s talk – How much can we trust IPCC climate predictions?” It would appear that “not a lot” isn’t the politically correct answer. Clauser is a longstanding critic of climate models and criticised the award of the Physics Nobel in 2021 for work on them. He is not alone, since many feel that climate models are primarily based on mathematics, and a history of failed opinionated climate predictions leave them undeserving of recognition at the highest level of pure science. Not that this opinion is shared by the green activist National Geographic magazine, which ran an article: “How climate models got so accurate they won a Nobel.”

I have to disagree with you a bit. So far the alarmist have only put some policies in place that will kill lots of people,
and implied that they would rather Earths population be much smaller.
They have not as of yet, identified the undesirables, and rounded them up for population reductions.

The reason is their papers don't say what you think they do.

They are commissioned and given grant money for a project. Do you think that the money holders will ever give them another grant if the papers don't meet their expectations? The scientists end up writing the papers with weasel words, and can be interpreted by the person reading it with their confirmation bias. The papers often lead with what other papers say, which isn't explicit in the other paper. This sets the stage for the reader to already have preconceived thoughts.

You should actually read these papers with an open mind. The rarely ever say what the media and bloggers tell you they say.

You have also defended the Oregon Petition which was compiled by the grifter founder of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine which gets its same funding from the climate change denier organizations as other grifter organizations like the Heritage Institute. Here’s some info about that particular petition:

I am not familiar with Dr. Clauser's work in quantum mechanics that got him his Nobel Prize in Physics, but I did read his 1970 doctoral thesis.

Keep in mind that this was just five years after Dr. Penzias and Dr. Wilson accidentally discovered the cosmic microwave background radiation in 1965. Now that we have the James Web Space Telescope, which was specifically designed to look in the infrared range at extremely distant galaxies and the early universe, we should be dusting off this earlier work of his since it seems relevant to what we are doing today.
