Canadian rockers Nickelback headlining U.S. ‘patriot’ music festival tour | Globalnews.ca
'There’s something special about connecting with fans in these communities, and we’re ready to bring our best and truly rock the country,' Nickelback bassist Michael Kroeger said.
Canadian rock band Nickelback is set to headline the 2025 edition of Rock the Country across the United States between April and July.
The upcoming travelling festival, with co-headliner Kid Rock, will make stops in 10 small towns across the U.S., beginning in Cullman, Ala., from June 19 to 21 and ending in Anderson, S.C., from July 25 to 26.
Rock the Country will also bring other big artists along for the multi-city festival, including Three Doors Down, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Hank Williams Jr., Big & Rich and more. Nickelback appears to be the only Canadian band on the docket.
A couple of notes :
- A Canadian band headlining an US patriot concert tour is like Justin Beiber headlining a Motown concert. Hilarious, except only 1 is true.
- Lynyrd Skynyrd's current lineup doesn't have a single original band member left. It is incredible that they are still calling themselves Lynyrd Skynyrd.
- There is serious discussion about whether 3 Doors Down is an objectively worse band than Nickleback.
- Gavin Adcock is what Tom McDonald wishes he could have become if only he hadn't turned his face into a 6th grade desk.
- I had to look up what a Big & Rich are and this was it :

Yikes.
Anyways, best of luck to all these guys and their flag covered grift. It is the golden age and there is no time like the present.
