Can someone who was all up in arms about masks explain the abortion decision to me?

Your source - The Charlotte Lozier Institute is the 501(c)(3) research and education institute of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an organization dedicated to electing candidates and pursuing policies that will reduce and ultimately end abortion. (From the About Us page)

Dobbs says nothing of the kind. Suggest you stop reading the left-wing press. They’re lying to you.

I wonder how many Americans really know what the ruling was?

I am will to bet that the protesters in Ny and CA, a good 80 plus percent of them think the courts ruling affects them.

I don’t think any level of government should be involved in the medical decisions between an adult and their doctor.

Period. Full stop.

From abortion to vaccines to end of life care.

With respect:

Are you strongly against anti-abortion laws?

BTW, when discussing public opinion polls on support for abortion, this OP is an excellent example of why asking the question “Do you support Roe?” is a bad question to ask. Too many simply don’t understand what overturning Roe actually means. Much better to ask the questions asked in the Gallup poll I cited in other threads where people are asked specifically in what trimesters do they support abortion rights. No understand of Roe is required that way.

The “problem” with asking it that way, however, is the pro-choice zealots don’t get the answer they want.

I’m strongly against ANY laws, mandates, etc that make medical decisions for adults. I’m also against mandating children TO have medical procedures.

Your body, your choice. Period.

Yep.

All emotion. No reasoning.

OK.

Women aren't killing fetuses, they're just removing them from their bodies. It's nature that's killing them. It's not the woman's fault a fetus can't live outside her body.
I love a good reductio ad absurdum.

Kudos.

I'd like a specific answer to my specific question. I find it hard to believe that you're against anti-abortion laws.

I keep asking that very question. what's wrong with our manly men who shiver at the mere mention of having their rights and freedoms questioned, specifically guns and masks but applaud this latest SCOTUS decision?

I’ve answered plainly. I’m sorry you can’t or don’t want to understand and I’ve no control over nor do I care what you “believe”

EASY-------To the GOP it seems that life begins at conception, but ends with mass shootings..............

You tried to answer indirectly. Why are you not willing to answer directly? Should I look at your comment history, especially in the abortion section?

Go right ahead. I’ve been plainly pro-choice and have stated so repeatedly.

Your body, your choice. For ALL medical decisions for adults.

And when it comes to children, I fall on the side of not mandating ANY medical procedures and otherwise, any legislation should protect children from potential harm until they are of the age of majority where they can make their own decisions about their own body.

Full stop.

I’m for LESS government telling people what they can/cannot do - not more.

Only recently science discovered baby's in the womb could feel pain, so there's that, and why are liberals such narcissist and think science is finished, we know all there is to know?
I believe it was 2006

Like I said the science is never settled

Until recently, many members of the medical community believed that babies did not feel pain. In 1987, the landmark paper by Drs. Anand, Phil, and Hickey published in The New England Journal of Medicine (hereafter NEJM) demonstrated evidence to the contrary

Fascists come for everyone eventually. Their time has been marked.

I think there qill be, now. The death of Roe v Wade has made this very stark.

Is saving a woman from death or irreparable damage to her body immoral ?
Why are you avoiding this simple question? I am not talking about when the mother is in peril. Scenario is healthy mother healthy baby, but the mother wants a late term abortion. Is this late term abortion immoral?

I wouldn’t call it a slippery slope fallacy considering it’s reality in this moment

And very possibly May go further into birth control, etc.

I’d say that slippery slope is a gigantic water slide.
Government was involved in the decision to abort (Roe v Wade). The only thing changed is its tack from liberty to authoritarian.

But yes, we need to be vigilant.
