Buffalo School Board votes 6-2 in favor of ousting Paladino

Not my problem. If they can't keep it bottled up, let them explode.

I once heard that a conservative is somebody who calls you a nigger to your face while a liberal is one who does it when they think you aren't looking. As if to mean that it's somehow better to have a racist in your face than locked away hiding somewhere.

Anyways, whomever came with it never realized that knowing these guys are out there is irrelevant to the general idea of what we should do once we find they hold power over our government offices etc.

The one who says it behind doors and is too chicken**** to say these things out loud can exist with or without the threat of being caught saying or doing anything too overtly racist. The ones who can't ... well they can go get ****ed. The point has never been to get every racist hiding in every corner of America anyways.

That is a heck of an attitude.

Lucky people that volunteer at food banks do not share it.

Either you ducked the question and/or your attitude is (as my Dad used to say) 'appalling'.

I care enough about my fellow humans to want to help them - even racists - to see the error in their thinking. But I cannot know to help them if they are afraid to admit they have the problem in the first place. This is why freedom of speech is SOOO important (among other reasons).

It's like when I was a crack addict. I was encouraged to come forward with my problem, but to do so could land me in jail. SO how am I supposed to seek help if doing so gets me in more trouble?
So I had to keep my mouth shut and deal with it on my own. I managed to kick the habit...but many do not - because they need help to do so.

And everyone who is screwed up (addicts, racists, bigots, etc.) usually needs help to smarten up. Thus, they must be encouraged to be open and honest about their feelings/problem...not stifled to conform to some PC mentality.

We are done here.

Good day.

As I suspected and pointed out - You have no real argument.

Seriously, like I told the other guy - not reading your posts and silliness while being perfectly capable of engaging other posters in lengthy and productive discussions is not a sign of not having an argument.

It's a sign of you being dismissed.

iLOL

You again prove you have no valid argument and only post silliness.

Good day.

Wait... how is it my problem if people don't say racist **** because they don't want to sound racist? How is this relevant to people in food banks? Are closet racists volunteering at food banks or something?

Get it straight, amigo.

Seriously, an unit. Each.
Oh look. More silliness used as deflection.

Just proving you have no valid argument again.

Buddy, crack addiction is a disease. Like a genuine one - you can ****ing die as a result of having it.

I am not about to compare that to attitudes gained as a result of listening to a racist granddaddy for a few years and agreeing with him on the negro problem.

I honestly don't want to go down this road because of how much it would diminish what is a disease (addiction) and how much it would needlessly glorify what is essentially a ****ty attitude about people whose color ticks them off.

No - these two things aren't alike. A ****ty attitude towards people because of race is comparable to a drug addiction only in that once you are found having either in your possession and you are also some form authority, you should be put for analysis AND it is legitimate as **** to question whether you are fit to remain in power.

www.nytimes.com/2016/12/29/nyregion...lo-school-board-demands-resignation.html?_r=0

Carl Paladino plans to fight the effort to oust him from the School Board ... calling the effort politically motivated and to expect a combative year.

Two Questions - Do you think Paladino finishes his current School Board term? Would you want him as a School Board member for your children?

I predict he does not finish his term. I would not want him as a School Board member for my children.

The words that he used to describe the president and his wife are so heinous that firing seems the only logical conclusion to this disgusting saga.

If that guy isn't a racist POS there isn't one on this planet.

He might as well have been under one of those masks on the A&E show that got cancelled about the KKK because his comments convey an attitude of old time KKK thinking (and most likely many in the current KKK would fully agree with this POS's comments).

Got a more reliable source? The one you gave is about as partisan as it gets.

Really? Those emails you can read in there aren't good enough because you don't like the editorializing around them? lol

You can find other sources but that one is the most graphic in that it shows exactly the emails he was pushing.

In Trumpland Manatee County where I have a homestead, the School Board would give Paladino a welcoming parade, each member lining up at a chance to kiss both his cheeks and swear their loyalty to their new Godfather.

Keep up the good work .

Kal'Stang, I've created a situation where you admit you wouldn't make a racist comment like this because -- we can only assume - you understand it would make you into a racist - but then you claim that you don't care about whether a group finds something racist...? Which is what this entire thing is about? You clearly ****ing do.

Love how you like to ignore what is said. I wouldn't say it normally because it is racist yes. But one comment alone doesn't make one a racist. It can however make one hated. And as I said previously I also wouldn't make such a statement because I don't think that way. Even in anger I don't think that way. So please, stop trying to push your own belief onto me.

1. You think anti-White Jews are out to get white people.

Nope I don't.

2. You don't care what minorities or the public say about what is and isn't racist.

Nope I don't. Why? Because what the majority says and believes doesn't always line up with facts.

3. You tell people what you find racist as if they should care about your concerns anymore than you care about those of minorities.

And you call people racist as if they should care about YOU think. Sorry but that pedestal that you're on isn't all that high.

4. You admit you wouldn't say this sort of racist **** because I can only assume you know it would make you into a racist in the eyes of people around you.

Nope. I wouldn't say it because the comment is racist and could make people hate. I also wouldn't say it because my brain doesn't think that way when insulting people.

I will give you some time to think about which of these views contradict each other and which ones just make you look bad in light of all we know about you and Palladino.

Actually you should take some time and think about how you see racism in everyone just because of one comment directed at two people that are disliked. You should also take the time to understand that just because a comment is racist, doesn't necessarily mean that the person that says it is racist. Especially when such a comment is said in the heat of a moment.

I asked you several times to provide proof that Paladino has a history of this behavior. You have yet to provide such a history. You have in fact been ignoring the question. Since you have failed to provide proof but are hanging on one comment made about two disliked people I'm going to assume that there is no such history. Which means Paladino is not a racist. Just someone who said something stupid in the heat of the moment.

Some people will see Trump's employment of a racist like Paladino as very relevant to their evaluation of Trump.

Perhaps you can answer the question. Does Paladino have a history of this type of behavior? Again, one comment directed at two disliked people does not make one a racist.

A source such as the one that you provided is suspect because of its editorializing. It's usually a dead give away that you should take whatever is said with a huge grain of salt. Fake News has been around for some time now. And its not that hard to make a picture of a fake email. Give me a reliable source and I'll easily admit that the guy is a racist.

It was widely reported in 2010. Paladino himself apologized for all the racist and pornographic emails.

Here ya go...

Here ya go...

If that isn't enough for you... you are simply in denial. Not to mention, being duped by fake news is a right wing thing.

This link was enough. Thank you. You at least have done what others have failed to do because they were more concerned about one statement than actual racism. Thanks to you I can easily say that yes, Paladino is racist and have no problem with him being dismissed from his post. Racists should not be heading our school system.

Go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe. As I've already said if Paladino is not a racist then there's not a racist on this planet.

Love how you like to ignore what is said.

Oh that's right, you had to turn around after it was shown beyond a shadow of a doubt why your position was absurd back then too. Let's see how you perform here.

Nope I don't.

Again, simply proven false by the fact that you wouldn't use Paladino's words because you understand what they'd do to your reputation.

Nope I don't. Why? Because what the majority says and believes doesn't always line up with facts.

Dude, you just posted as a fact that you wouldn't say it. You obviously do care. Again, there that cognitive dissonance where what you say you'd do, and your late statements don't line up with each other.

Actually you should take some time and think about how you see racism in everyone just because of one comment directed at two people that are disliked.

I laughed at this, you turned around on the ADL league when you realized literally nobody agreed with your point of view because of how crazy it sounded. Now you've deliberately stepped on the landmine of trying to defend a guy's clearly racist words, while screaming he's not a racist even though you supposedly would never in a million years say what he said because hey, guess what? You'd look like a racist to the people around you.

I know, I know Kal'Stang, it's very hard for you to admit this. You have to simply draw out the process of:

1. You telling the forum you wouldn't do it because you understand it makes you look like a racist.
2. You telling the forum it's not actually racist to be racist if even once.

Again, I'm sure it's got nothing to do with your expressed views on the evil anti-Jewish cabal to get white people. It's all coincidence that the SAME poster holds all of these views.

:)

How does anybody know this wasn't satire?

Love how you like to ignore what is said

Seriously? Okay:

As for what I would say in public, no I wouldn't say that in public. But then I'm not prone to making stupid comments in public.

I don't care what a group of people think.

We all think stupid things literally EVERY moment and avoid saying them just fine. We also avoid letting whatever racism is inside (we'll call it stupidity - since that's what you blandly described making racist comments as). That stated:

Do you understand that the reason you wouldn't say that - is because everyone in your immediate surrounding would realize you went through the thought process required to type out a racist rant? And that's not a process which appears in a vacuum and you develop randomly? Again, I don't think you understand how bad the position you've taken makes you look.

You now have to options:

- Realize your position makes it look like you believe racism ('stupidity' according to your statements) simply exists in a vacuum and people turn on and off their racist switch -- which is not only laughable, it's false.
- Continue down this absurd road where you think it takes numerous publicly recorded offenses in order for a person to be 'a racist'

Please go for #2, destroying your absurd position and putting you into a corner where you don't care whether people think you're a racist, but you also clearly care enough not to say racist **** is really funny. It definitely puts the whole anti-white NYC Jews are out to get whites in a beautiful yet new perspective.
