I don't care if the accused is a republican or democrat we need more than just the accuser's word that the alleged offense happened before we demand they resign or drop out. I realize that they are trying to give democrats a taste of their own medicine of having someone make an allegation from decades ago that can't be proven and sometimes is past the statute of limitations so it can't be tried in a court of criminal law in order to derail a campaign or to get someone to resign. Sometimes giving people a taste of their own medicine is a good strategy. Sure if we had a unbiased media that treated all allegations of wrong doing equally this might work. However don't have a unbiased media that would treat all allegations of wrong doing equally. So this allegation will be swept under the rug and as long as the mainstream media does not pick up the story then it can be dismissed as nothing more than a right wing biased smear job despite running a left wing biased smear job against Kavanaugh themselves.
