That doesn't make them "tax benefits."Yes, and when you buy things from Amazon, you are still obligated to pay state sales taxes. But nobody paid those taxes. The only way the states were able to get the money was when the government forced Amazon collect it for them. That's not going to work with transactions between individuals.
"Hey guys there's this neat trick for free loans you don't even have to pay back! Just walk into a bank with a gun..."
You can fantasize all you want, there's not going to be a mass adoption of a "currency" that takes hours or even days to process a transaction when you can't even use it in a store.
