Getting the information I want from the media when I want it is much less wearing than the constant barrage on American TV, ads and phone calls. When in FL I find it much, much harder to escape the crap. Just couldn't imagine that 7/24/365.

The almost constant US election cycle is amazing to me.
In the UK the entire general election proces takes a few months and main campaigning outside the official election time is illegal.

We actually want our politicians to get some work done and not be forced into constant campaigning or begging for money.

The only peace that may come our way would be those of us with good sense finally witnessing any long overdue justice that may come out of the DOJ post midterm. Even then, as that may happen, we'll more than likely be defending ourselves from the T-Right dingbats in real time. In the name of justice and democracy - bring it on. peace busters.
