Apparently an awful lot of people don't realize how much technology has rendered the power of the FCC obsolete WRT to TV.
And the most alarming thing of all is, I'd bet ten bucks 99% of you use cable or satellite instead of OTA (antennas) which is where the repository of FCC's power lies re television.
The FCC could shut down every television transmitter in the country and 90% of the viewers wouldn't even know it.

PS: Fox News Channel is a cable news outlet owned by News Corporation of America, Inc.
They have a handful of O&O stations (owned and operated) but the majority are simply affiliates and can broadcast what they want.
But aside from the O&O stations, Fox News Channel does not operate more than a handful of over the air transmitters, and the ones they do own could just simply sell to another investor and
be back on the air in a jiffy and continue carrying FNC, even if FCC padlocked their transmitter.
