I'd say it's funny you didn't bother spelling out an executive action, presented an argument for why it is within his legitimate executive power relying on real world examples of EOs, especially those that withstood court review, except it isn't.

I'm betting Biden is telling the truth, that you just want to say bad things about him, and that you just want everyone to ignore the fact that the GOP is killing a bill full of GOP asks without being asked for anything in exchange just so they campaign on it.

And that's why it isn't funny. It's why America is increasingly dysfunctional. Clearly the comments by Biden and the agreement by democrats signals that they are liars and intend to do nothing substantial about the huge numbers of illegals coming into the country. The laws already available could be used, implemented to seriously slow the flood of immigrants. They could enforce the law to hold asylum seekers to the first safe country they come too, as Trump did, they could use another title 42 type act to stop immigrants, they could repeal their catch and release policies. They have chosen to do none of these. Biden's only reason for offering a new immigration set of rules is to get billions for Ukraine.

How do you know it's a lie?

Because laws exist that allow him to stop the catch and release practices, to use the asylum laws to require those seeking asylum to remain in the first safe country they come too. For almost all of them that happens before they get to the US. He could implement another title 42 type procedure because we see many ill migrants, and he hold all those crossing until they actually had a hearing.
He's also done nothing to force Mexico to act. The meetings they've had have produced nothing except demands from Mexico to remove sanctions from Cuba and Venezuela.
He's not up to the task of being President and his cabinet is full of far left loons who don't understand that strength is what works.

We've been hit over 170 times since Oct, and more than 100 prior to Oct. His acts are the bare minimum and not designed to stop the attacks, (they are for show) against our troops in the middle east. Only a fool would think the paltry efforts we have made are seriously designed to stop Iranian backed proxy terror groups from attacking our troops.
