Biden to Sign EO Protecting Access to Reproductive Rights - DEVELOPING

ttwtt78640:

Tubal ligation procedures effectively results in the"deaths" of the many ova still left in the ovary. The ova are the primary gametes (sex cells) which constitute about 98% of the biomass of a fertilised zygote. So should a tubal ligation be declared an illegal procedure too? No ova, no zygote, no blastocyst, no embryo, no fœtus, no child.

Cheers and be well.
Evilroddy.

No.

Can you please explain the material difference between A) a state overriding a woman's right to privacy in order to "protect a non person" vs B) a state overriding a woman's right to privacy in order to protect a fetal right to life?
Who is protecting the 2/3rds of fertilized eggs that are never born? Don't all those have a "right to life"? Why is it that only unwanted fetuses have a right to life?

Depends on whether the given state has defined "life" as beginning at conception or some later point and whether the ending of that life was a happenstance or someone's act of commission.

The idiot Biden summed it up best when he said "I don't care what your position is"

That's the truth. He only cares what position his puppetmasters tell him is his. Let's all just be grateful that he is as big of a moron as he is. If he were smart he would be much more dangerous than he already is.
Who are his puppet asters, and did Trump,have any?

Really.
States or the Federal Government may protect a non person but that does NOT mean they have rights.

Clearly an unborn has no rights.

An unborn/fetus in not a PERSON under U.S. law.
Persons have rights under the Constitution, and it is clear that the authors of the Constitution and its amendments did not regard fetuses as persons.
In order to say that fetuses are persons under U.S. law, the Constitution would have to be amended to say so.
Seems to be moving in that direction for the born!

In other words you do not care about fetuses. Only about the women that do not want to carry them to term. That is what I thought.

Can biologists define men, too, or might we need someone like Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris?

I suppose that biologists can define all (72?) genders, but there might be some disagreement on a few close calls. ;)

No, they don't care about the festuses. They care about control of women. Like the Duggars without a pedophile son.

Today, President Biden will sign an Executive Order Protecting Access to Reproductive Health Care Services. This Executive Order builds on the actions his Administration has already taken to defend reproductive rights by:

  • Safeguarding access to reproductive health care services, including abortion and contraception;
  • Protecting the privacy of patients and their access to accurate information;
  • Promoting the safety and security of patients, providers, and clinics; and
  • Coordinating the implementation of Federal efforts to protect reproductive rights and access to health care.

He's in for a fight on some of this if he tries to stretch it into states that have laws against it. The Supreme Court has ruled and that man is openly defying a co-equal branch of government. Hummmm, isn't that what the democrats are trying to persecute Trump for? Defying the constitution as determined by the Court.

Excellent news!!

See, the funny thing about this is when Fox tells you to refer to "Biden's puppetmasters", you do it. All of you. All at once. In fact, the lot of you Trumpists (not all the right) say whatever Fox/Trump wants you to, right down to the letter. Why, some even come here to recite last night's Hannity and Carlson.

Puppetmasters indeed.

Time to use different colors or fonts so as not to confuse Joe “Where am I?” Biden too much. ;)
I'll bet he knows to not look directly at a solar eclipse w/o protective eyewear.

And while reading his prepared remarks from the teleprompter, Biden read aloud the stage direction to "repeat the line."
I'm guessing you didn't watch his speech. I watched the entire thing and didn't catch that. What I did catch was him saying was "let me repeat that" he may even have said line. The other thing I got was a powerful and passionate speech the central message which is something that the GOP will want to deflect from with drivel like this.

Do any of those result in the death of the unborn child?
Chemo could, for sure.

ETA: xrays could, too. That's why they ask women of reproductive age when their last period was and tell her to come back after her next one if it was too far away - they want to make sure she isn't pregnant. At least they do up here.
