Biden: No new taxes on anyone making less than $400,000.

Sigh. Biden just pained himself into a corner. It's one thing to say no new taxes for general purposes, but now he can't, say, introduce a health plan that shifts from employer insurance to single-payer and requires taxes, while helping employers to raise wages.

It precludes simple rollbacks of the Republican tax bills, which had tiny tax cuts for most people. It precludes any taxes in this time of crisis, to recover, if needed - or to be attacked like Bush 41 who said to 'read his lips - no new taxes'.

Biden is not in favor of a complete shift to single payer now. He wants a public option that allows people to buy into Medicare. Biden will make Trumps middle class tax cuts permanent instead of expiring while raising the top bracket back to Obama's level of 39%.
 
Biden is on record saying he'd jack up the corporate tax rate if elected.

So much for any chance of a Post-Covid economic recovery if Eegah Biden wins.

Raising the cost of electricity and gas under Biden's plans will be far worse than a tax because it can't be repealed. The poor will be disproportionately affected. Energy poverty is real in America and Biden's election will make it a whole lot worse.

What Republicans will lie about is that it's Biden's position that he'll raise taxes on Americans making less than $400k, just like they lied about Ukraine bribery and that he supports defunding the police.

Republicans are so comfortable with lying they just assume everybody's that way.

Candidates campaign on whatever sounds good. That often changes when they get into office and realize their suggestions aren't even possible. But your suggestion that Republicans are comfortable with lying implies that you don't believe Democrats are. Is that the case?

This is what democrats DONT UNDERSTAND!!!!!! Corporations in effect DONT pay taxes. They decide what profit they need for their product, and add on the amount they will pay in taxes. IF YOU RAISE THEIR TAXES they will raise the price of their product. The people that need or want their product actually pay corporate taxes.

Yes it is that simple, but democrat being less than bright cant get it thru their thick heads.

Give me a break. We have a free market economy and consumers set the prices. If they raise their prices we will buy from someone else. You act like corporations own us. Is that what your handlers tell you?
