Glenn Thompson voted against Respect for Marriage Act, which would codify the right to have a same-sex marriage into federal law. Then proceeds to attend the gay wedding of his son.

What's your point? Ya, there's a history of Republicans 'negotiating' and getting a lot of changes to bills - and then not giving them one vote. Like the ACA.
