If Beto has a criminal record, I don't see how he can run for President. You can't have a criminal record and be President of the United States, can you?

I don't think that fool really wants to be POTUS as much as he wants his name known for a senate run. From basically a nobody to a household name. Laughed at in my house.

Yes, you can. What Robert O'Rourke can't do, is be in the same room, or vehicle as someone carrying a gun, because of his criminal record.

So he can't be in the same room or vehicle as a police officer.

And if you're POTUS you're going to be surrounded by secret service body guards, and all of them will be carrying guns.

I certainly think the reason why he's running for president he's so that Biden and Warren look less crazy. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he was encouraged to run for that reason.

But people like him should be afraid to say these things. They need to remember where rights come from. It isn't because Mommy government gave them to us it's because we killed enough people to demand them. That's why we have the right to own guns.

At least Biden and Warren hold federal offices (US Senators). Beto couldn't manage to pull that off.
