But, I thought Gaza was a wrecked shell of an area completely without running water, electricity, and beyond hope!!

Too bad 70% of Palestinians can't shop there anyways. That is a sad looking mall.....Now this is what a real mall looks like....

Anybody know where it is?
Means nothing, no matter where it is.

Nice try deflecting the issue at hand, but then, I figure you don't want to discuss the issue at hand.

What's interesting to me is that the top photo shows two women, but in the bottom photo I can see only one and possibly two at the lower right, one on the stairs, and perhaps one in the group at the top about to descend the stairs, but that's about it. All the rest are men.

Actually, the fact that only about 30% of Palestinians would be able to shop in there does mean something. Here I'll give you the facts:

Poverty in Palestine

Financial boycott sends Palestinian poverty numbers soaring, finds UN report

But as long as Israel News is telling us that some of them still have money, I guess everything is fine.

Amazing how those agenda-motivated idiots from the media can create new realities, isn't it?

"Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups".

A few streets from my home, and no it's not amazing at all.
What is amazing is people that can actually compare between a prospering country such as Israel and a third world territory such as the Gaza Strip, or Yemen or Jordan or Egypt or the rest of the third world nations.

You get a strong feeling from the media and the pro-Palestinian bunch that Gaza is actually supposed to be a first-world territory.
As if Hamas wouldn't have thrown rockets into Israel it'd have been ****ing Manhattan.

The real issue is one of attribution. Gaza was Gaza before there was an Israel, and has never been a paradise. What, with the astronomical birth rates, corrupt leadership, infighting and committment to killing Jews over the creation of a viable society, OF COURSE the place remains less well off than some others. It may be fashionable these days to blame Jews, but good grief -- when are these people ever going to be held accountable for the THEIR actions?

It's like claiming that Baghdad and Kabul were both renaissance-era Paris just before America has invaded and has ruined it all.

And here's one of those crappy humanitarian-crisis clubs in the plagues-bearing Gaza strip:

.: Roots Club :.

What's the address of this fancy club, you're asking?
Cairo Street, Rimal, Gaza.
