Armageddon (means Mountain of Meggido) is the Hebrew name of a place where God will war against man. Armageddon cannot refer to the literal area near ancient Megiddo. Why? Because there is no large mountain there, and even the entire adjoining Low Plain of Jezreel could not contain all those who will fight against God. Instead, Armageddon is the worldwide situation in which the nations assemble in their last stand against rule by God.

I’m way more afraid of the nutters right here trying to usher it in as fast as possible, so they can live in their version of paradise. They are as stable as the Muslims in suicide vests racing to their 72 virgins.

Now a very real thing, if you want something to worry about, is what we are doing to this planet. We are destroying the environment that makes human life possible here. Now the earth will go on after we are gone and nature will heal itself. It will take a long time though. Like geological time not human time.

Not much you can do about any of it. That is why I don't worry.

If there was really just “one true plan,” shouldn’t they mostly agree with each other?
