No, no mistake...

Because of what both Jesus and Paul said, salvation is not a done deal, salvation is a process...until the end of our life or the end of the world, whichever comes 1st...

"But the one who has endured to the end will be saved." Matthew 24:13

“Keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12

Nor can we take that process of salvation for granted...

For as regards those who were once enlightened+ and who have tasted the heavenly free gift and who have become partakers of holy spirit 5 and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, 6 but have fallen away,+ it is impossible to revive them again to repentance," Hebrews 6:4-6

"For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth,+ there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left," Hebrews 10:26,
I think the end of life is the end of the world. For each individual. Death is nothingness, blackness, no afterlife. ☠️💀

It is exactly that without the promise/hope of the resurrection...

i took the deep dive.

i wanted to settle the question once for all and i did.

it surprises me that there is such a lack of concern with something that means more than ANYTHING in our lives. Eternity is a long time, it is best to get that right over anything else.

.
If the Bible "settles the question" why do all the denominations interpret the Bible to suit their own needs? If Holy Books are the final answer, why have there been so many wars OVER HOW PEOPLE BELIEVE THEIR HOLY BOOK READS? Why was Joan of Arc burned at the stake? How was HER revelations different from Saul/Paul? Because a female wasn't "capable" of that. Why is "God" always a male? Because males wrote the books, excluding any female contributions that might have been made. How is it that the Bible was in the hands of the Roman Church for over 1000 years being hand written and everyone just takes for granted there was no "creative editing"? Why was the Roman Church always spoken in Latin, no matter the language of the people hearing, EVEN THOUGH BY THAT TIME NO ONE SPOKE LATIN, EXCEPT THE CHURCH? It is the same in Islam. It is taught BY ISLAMIC LAW in old Arabic. Even though no one speaks Old Arabic. Look it up.

No, I am very sorry, but nothing is settled by reading the Bible. That is self- confirming. "I believe in the Bible, so if I read the Bible it will confirm something I already believe."

Before anyone decides I am a flaming Liberal who is an atheist, I am NOT. I am a conservative and I just do not buy in to "Holy Scriptures" written by humans.

Feel free to quote me all you want, I'm not continuing this argument.

I can do without the threat of a resurrection. I’ve been here 78 years this Friday, I’m in ‘til the end but let the end be the end. 😇

doesn't matter

when you go to God's judgement he is looking at you, not the denominations.

denominations answer for them selves.

If Holy Books are the final answer, why have there been so many wars OVER HOW PEOPLE BELIEVE THEIR HOLY BOOK READS?

people fight over anything, read the forum.

we had a guy fight over and kill someone over a chicken dinner back in the day. less than that in the ghettos.

Why was Joan of Arc burned at the stake? How was HER revelations different from Saul/Paul? Because a female wasn't "capable" of that. Why is "God" always a male?

meh, God is a Spirit. so are you.

long discussion. the rc created the alexandrian family of manuscripts.

the christians created the majority text and textus receptus family of documents. basically no 'creative editing' or errors.

Why was the Roman Church always spoken in Latin, no matter the language of the people hearing, EVEN THOUGH BY THAT TIME NO ONE SPOKE LATIN, EXCEPT THE CHURCH?

prolly to keep the sheep ignorant?

It is the same in Islam. It is taught BY ISLAMIC LAW in old Arabic. Even though no one speaks Old Arabic. Look it up.

ok

God preserved his word: the Bible.

everything is settled in the Bible.

Threat? What threat is there in living on earth, with evil gone forever, living in an abundance of peace, returning to the vigor of your youth...no more tears, no more pain, no more death, no more mourning or outcry?

3 words Lisa...what it's been since the beginning of time in the garden of Eden...good versus evil...evil has worked ever since to stifle good...there has been a constant battle ever since then and it is up to each human to decipher which is which...

Sounds like a Twilight Zone episode. Do people still believe that Bull Shit? 😳🙄

I don’t know but I been told. Streets of heaven are lined with gold, how could anything he much worse, if the Russians happened to get up there 1st. Bob Dylan

how do you call Paradise, a Twilight zone?

might wanna re-think and re-imagine Reality.

Do you "take" the below "seriously" @Revelation?

You may wanna research your trinity doctrine a little bit better then...it's not in the Bible...

Logic, we are discussing Salvation currently, not the Trinity.

of course i support the Trinity and always have. the issue at stake on this thread today is just ditching the atheism and finding God.

1. A paradise our God has promised,
By means of Christ’s Millennial Reign,
When he’ll blot out all sin and error,
Removing death and tears and pain.

(Chorus)

2. Soon here on earth, for God so purposed,
His Son will cause the dead to rise.
It was the promise of Christ Jesus:
‘You’ll be with me in Paradise.’

(Chorus)

3. O joy of joys! What grand reunion
When billions dead return to life!
’Twill be a time of fine instruction,
Completely free from hateful strife.

(Chorus)

4. Yes, Paradise our Lord did promise.
And he is now earth’s rightful King.
So let us thank our God, Jehovah.
Do leap for joy; his praises sing.

(CHORUS)

A paradise the earth will be.
With eyes of faith this we can see.
This promise Christ shall soon fulfill,
For he delights to do God’s will.

Ok.-Let's discuss "Salvation".

Can one achieve "Salvation" if he/she does not believe in a Triune Christian God? Yes? Or No?

good question; our beliefs in Jesus does not change who he is. the bible is quite clear on the identity of Jesus Christ as God

the bible is very clear that it takes faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

this would be a good place for you to start Logic, perhaps consider this while you have the opportunity.

good question
Agreed.

It's a simple 'Yes' or 'No' "good question".

Is 'your' answer 'Yes'?

Or is 'your' answer 'No'?

Or do 'you' not know the answer to the "good question"?

Is the answer 'Yes'?

Or is the answer 'No'?

Or do you not know the answer to the "good question"?

my concern is the Salvation of all of you.

you don't believe in God in any way, so i would start there.

i have sufficiently answered your question in what i know concerning the Trinity, the next move is your own. no one can do this for you Logic.

blessings.

edit, when you put your faith in Jesus, you are putting your faith in God, there are no half faiths out there. Jesus is not some kind of half God or a God alternative but fully God.

.

Nope, I'm an atheist so gods not saving me.

What a shame.
It's the inky blackness of oblivion for me.

i have sufficiently answered your question

.
No, Rev. You have not "sufficiently answered" the the simple 'Yes' or 'No' question.

You will have "sufficiently answered" the below question if/when you reply with a simple 'Yes' or a 'No' response.

Here is the question, to refresh your memory.

my concern is with the unbeliever, just not believing in God doesn't make God disappear. the same with not believing in Jesus as God doesn't make him not a God, but only in your mind.

all of life works this way, believing the Earth is flat, doesn't make the earth flat. people need to get to the core of Truth; too many are satisfied with their Tiny Knowledge or No Knowledge.

in the End that attitude will come back and bite them.

0001_08.gif...this guy kinda had a few opinions that sounded ok ........to him. in the next scenes, God is not amused and out to the Toaster he goes.

bye.

people need to get to the core of Truth
If you sincerely/truthfully want to help people "get to the core of the Truth" regarding Christian "Salvation", you will help those people by putting forth a simple 'Yes' or 'No' response to the below question.
