Democrats are despondent. Outwardly they are parading before the cameras saying how sad it is that Mr. Libby has been indicted. It is a sad time for the leftists. They were hunting for much bigger game.

In truth, no one really cares if Valerie Plame was “outed.” The liberals manufactured this non-crime so that they could claim that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. Stretching the envelope of reality to the breaking point, the leftists have made this claim: Bush sought revenge against Joe Wilson because his non-report didn’t support the president’s claim that Saddam was attempting to buy yellow cake uranium from Niger. With nothing better to do, the president and his staff decided to expose Wilson’s wife as a CIA agent, thus putting her life in danger and ruining her career. In a nutshell, that is what the liberals want Americans to believe.

What really happened? First, people must step back and take a close look at ex-Ambassador Joseph Wilson IV. People have seen pictures of the flashy, sports-car-driving Wilson with his “outed” wife in Vanity Fair, but are most people aware that Wilson was a member of John Kerry’s election team? Wilson had every reason to sabotage the Bush administration. A job in the Kerry administration was one reason.

Wilson did have some time in Iraq and apparently put his life at risk by freeing 150 American hostages seized by Saddam just before the Gulf War. That seems to be his only claim to fame—until he saw the opportunity to return to the spotlight he loves at the expense of his wife, Valerie Plame.

If people don't care about the War In Iraq, it isn't my or the board's fault. It's far from 'buried' as is evidence since you found it.

It's funny how the libs always yell out, "Innocent until proven guilty". Yet, they have NO evidence against the Bush Administration, and already they're ready to call Rove, Cheney, and Libby guilty. Hypocritical? You bet your sweet ass! (no pun intended)

All these Senators from the left are saying that they were lied to by Bush about the "evidence" of WMDs. Bush didn't tell them anything. He HANDED the senate the same evidence that the Clinton Admin gave him, that the Russian/Israeli/British got's gave him, and what the FBI/CIA gave him. So if there was a lie, then those sources that Bush had are the liars, not Bush. And, with that same evidence, the senate agreed to give Bush the go ahead to start the in Iraq.

Clinton, during his presidency, was given evidence that Saddaam had WMDs, that's why Clinton bombed Iraq. But the Liberals didn't have a problem with that, oh no. Cuz it was Clinton, the first "black" president. And God forbid we accuse Clinton of lying about WMDs. That is strictly forbidden in the eyes of the liberals.

I suggest that everyone google the name: Marc Rich (or look it up under wikipedia). Clinton pardoned this traitor when two women visited the whitehouse and asked Bill to do it. He finally pardoned Rich in his last few hours as president. What a crook!

Where is the investigation on Wilson. An ex-ambasador (not trained to inspect for WMD's like his wife) made an unofficial trip to Niger.( he did not have to sign a nondiscloser agreement, that his wife would have, allowing him to go public) He then came home and went public with the "No sales of yellow cake MADE" story joining the Bush lied critics. (while his report actually supported the original intelligence provided by the British "ATTEMPTS to buy yellow cake").........Wilson needs to be put under oath and given a chance at perjery. By the way, I'm just a bug killer from Texas and I know all of this, why can't the media and elected officials figure this out? They are supposed to be the smart ones.

That's my whole point the only reason I found it is because you moved my poinent weekly state department Iraqi assessment to this thread where it has recieved 0 hits, these belong in the todays news category. This is news; Katrina, Jackson, Peterson, and the like are just distractions and any journalist worth his salt would know the difference.

Well, maybe it would behoove you to scan the fora more carefully then. Since the threads are relevent to the War on Iraq, they go under...would you get this?!?!.... the War on Iraq forum. Yes, it is news. But it's more specifically news about the War on Iraq. Therefore, it goes here.

Should a thread be about Katrina? Well, we've got a forum for that as well! And I don't see any Jackson/Peterson threads in the Today's News forum's front page right now.

It's interesting that there's an accusation for a liberal leaning out there when other threads, like Robin's left leaning "US is losing the War" thread was also moved down here by me.

Honestly people. He moved a topic on the War in Iraq to the War in Iraq forum. It's called cleaning up the site. Does it really, really upset you that much?

Here's a hint. If a topic is interesting, it will get posts no matter what forum it's in. If it's not....well how many posts did you say your thread had Trajan?

I agree with Shu and you.

I also don't understand why something like this would upset anyone. Mods move stuff around to clean up the site all the time.

All I'm saying is hardly anyone checks this thread which is prved by the lack of hits moving it down here in effect buries the story like putting stuff in the back pages of the newspaper instead of on the front page exactly the same reason that this truth has not come out in the liberal media because they buried the story and put up a smoke screen trying to discredit Bush, the media in effect took the real story here of Hillary Plame sending her biased husband with no intel experience and sending him to Niger to discredit Bush and flipped its on its head in a blatant attempt to try to discredit the administration.

Plenty of people post in the War in Iraq forum. If this thread isn't getting hits, it's because of the threads content, not where it is.

Yup...gotta tell ya, I read this part of the forum daily, and really just didnt care much about the contents of the thread...that is until I saw someone accusing a Moderator of Bias. These people devote the time to keep the place running, and are doing a great job in my opinion. And I will tell you a little secret.....showing disrespect to the people who will decide your fate in this little world, might be a bad Idea in time.

You may now call me an ass kisser....as I am sure you are thinking , But the truth is, this is my honest evaluation of peers.

Agreed...

Here's a little tidbit for the forum members....

The Moderator Team is evenly split when it comes to political affiliations(Although Kelzie's been trying to make everyone Socialists...:2wave: ).

If shuey's actions were deemed irrational by other Mods, we would come down on him harder than any forum member possibly could...

I'd seen the moving of this thread not long after it happened and to be honest, I think shuey showed a little constraint...

First, the original post is nothing but an article...No comments from the member who posted it, nor was a debatable question put forth...

Also, the first three words of the article...."Democrats are despondent"...Could be an invitation for a flame-war...If I were a Democrat and I saw that at the beginning of the thread, I would hesitate to think this thread would be the object of free-flowing debate....

shuey actually showed restraint...I could easily see him dropping this into the Basement...

This post was so full of BS, that I felt compelled to check your age because I thought that this could not be from someone who is educated. I see you are 18 years old. From where do you get this information, which is totally inaccurate?

Okay. Stop with the agist crap. Yes that's a word. That I just made up.

Anyway, I don't go around telling people their posts suck cause they're old and senile. Your age doesn't make you informed, uniformed, logical, illogical, smart, dumb, wise, or a fool. It makes you old or young. That's it.

I agree with Donkey 1499. I am 35 years old and I say there is nothing wrong with his information. Hang in there Donkey, when I was your age I hated it when I got no respect because of my age.
