Arabs Back Palestinians in Quest for Statehood

I support a Palestinian state. I also support declaring war against it, killing Hamas and nation building with Israel in charge of implimentation.

I wonder how this vote will go, please bump the thread if and when the vote occurs.

talk about a completely irrelevant organization

I support a Palestinian state.

I do too - but only after the Balfour is restored; its corruption is the greatest Post-W.W.II crime. I also support a 2-state in Egypt - one for the original native Copts now facing elimination. Lebanon should also be restored to a Christian rule: Christianity predates Islam in this region. Kashmir should also be declared untouchable and a historical part of India. Islamic rulers must be forbidden to stay in power more than two 4 year terms; Islamic Clerics should be made to undergo a licensing test.

This is a racist, genocidal doctrine:

"NO OTHER RELIGION SHALL PREVAIL IN ARABIA" - says a new kid on the block.

Arabs are backing Arabs.

What a surprise.

It probably 'wont' surprise you, considering your unrivalled demographic knowledge of the UK, that Cameron may baulk at US/Israeli protestations and back the Palestinians at a UN vote

"David Cameron indicated to Netanyahu in London last month that Britain might back a Palestinian state if there was no substantial progress in negotiations".

Israel warns Palestinians all deals are off if UN vote goes ahead | World news | The Guardian

Why is that relevent? I don't know anything some "US initiative", I never even brought it up. So far, all these "meetings" have just been a waste of time and money. On paper, we got treaties between israel, her neighbors, and "initiatives" out the rear. In practice, none of that really does anything.

If you know nothing of US driven initiatives you may benefit from researching the Region/Conflict. In The rest of your statement you seem to contradict yourself somewhat. US initiatives have often 'kick started' both sides to proceed in at least talking. Is that a bad thing?

Because the UN is powerless, solves nothing, causes problems, and their treaties aren't worth the paper they're written on? just a guess?

I agree the UN has not the greatest track record, for one reason or another, but as i previously mentioned the US for a multitude of reasons have shared in that 'track record'. If this process does little else, it will bring and highlight grievances into a different forum...As i state above thus far initiatives/talks/dangling carrots have achieved little so perhaps the time has come for a different approach.

what about when Jews back Jews? I guess that's purely due to feelings of cultural and religious brotherhood, and has NOTHING to do with the value of the objective or goal, right?
whats the objective or goal? please, enlighten us.....

I was being hypothetical.

I was responding to a comment that was clearly suggesting that Arabs support other Arabs, regardless of the goal or aim.

oh. nvm then. have at it.
