Anti-Olympic protests turn violent

Not criticizing Vancouver but that happens every time.
Have to shuffle out or hide the poor people to save face.

Yeah, there was a law passed making it easier for police to force homeless people into shelters citing "extreme weather conditions". I imagine it's pretty hard to cite extreme weather these days!

That and travel restrictions and additional headaches on the locals.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to live in Vancouver right now, exciting as it is.

BTW how much are the tickets to attend the Olympics? Can an average citizen afford it anymore especially in these economic times? Just curious.

Protesters seem to treat protesting as a fun day out if your serious about something why not dress in suits and stand silently for 8 hours it would be far more effective.

:laughat:
:rofl:rofl

No no no no.

That's not the solution to get rid of hippies, that's how to get into a crowd of hippies.

Its very simple how to get rid of hippies....

You know, its funny because its true. My sister in law experimented with being a "hippy" in her early 20s. The first time she rode in my car, she was treated to some very loud Pantera. The first thing she said is "How can you stand this? its so violent sounding." :2razz:

What is an average citizen?

This from the WSJ;
Make note of the progressive policies reference. Progressive's are ill and can't stand our systems and want to destroy them here and are well on their way to doing it in Canada.

The minute any protest becomes violent and destruction of property takes place all protesters should be warned that they are no longer permited to to protest as they have broken the law and everyone of them should be rounded up and placed in jails.

In this country they and in Canada there is too much tolerance of wackos who have no brains and will protest anything because their mothers exposed them to drugs or something before they were born.

I know it's a cheap shot there are people who are almost protesting the systems that allow them the right to protest. Their education in Liberal schools by wacko teachers with Liberal agendas causes some kind of mental imbalance, and it's not just here, it all over the world.

Round them up lock them up and forget about them.

You know aside from the protests, the malfunction in the Opening Ceremony, and the luge track I have really enjoyed the Olympics. I am also really excited about how well the Americans have been doing so far.
