Another entirely predictable mass-shooting. Aren't guns great!

We don't want guns, we don't need guns and even the police don't want to be routinely armed-as every vote taken by the police on this subject has shown. The total lack of anyone, anywhere in Britain, clamouring for a repeal of our stringent laws is evidence enough; no debates in parliament, nothing. Two horrific massacres committed by people using legally held guns prompted our latest laws, and they work. You're welcome to keep shooting each other though.

A gun is for self defense, hunting, or pest control not to commit murder. No gun maker makes guns for civilian ownership as a mass murder tool. So again your claim that guns were made for killing is irrelevant.

This has to be the most stupid post I have yet read today. Guns are designed to put lethal holes in living things, including people, and kill them; argue against that.

Enjoy not being able to have anything to defend yourself with except maybe a cricket bat. You people can't even have something as simple as pepper spray and tazers for self defense.

What I am saying that no gun dealer and manufacturer makes or sells guns so that you can go murder people. So the claim that guns are made to kill is irrelevant. Because the killing in which those those guns were made for is perfectly legal. Just as driving on the road is what cars were made for, not driving over people.Or how kitchen knifes were made for stabbing, slicing, chopping and cutting meat and vegetables not for doing those things on people.

Here's something to consider:

Gun violence rare in U.K. compared to U.S.
11,004 Gun Murders in US vs. 26 (equiv. 130) in England Annually | Common Dreams Views

Now tell me why gun laws don't work.

UK death from gunshot in 2018. 26 (twenty six).
USA death from gunshot in 2018. 11,000 (eleven thousand).

Homicides has always been rare in the UK.Not in the USA. So your country's gun laws don't prove anything except that your people are chicken littles screaming the sky is falling we got to ban guns.

Good for you. That's your right. No one is trying to force you to own a gun.

Me? It's my right to own and carry a gun and I'm going to excercise that right.

Enjoy your fear; I'll continue to enjoy my freedom from it without the need of a gun.

The U.S.-Mexico border is widely recognized as one of the toughest crossings in the world, lol. Except for Fox News viewers. Look for another excuse.

One of the toughest?

Who on earth recognizes that?

No, but they removed one lethal element; capital punishment doesn't stop murders either. Compare our gun crime stats with yours and explain what you think we're doing wrong.

Is getting killed with a cricket bat or knife going to make you any less dead than being killed with a gun? Is your mother and father going to be saying to themselves oh thank god our little boy was killed with a cricket bat or knife instead of a gun as though that's somehow better?

Are you being deliberately stupid? What was it about "...removed one lethal element" that you find troubling your comprehension skills? Fewer guns on the street means fewer opportunities to use them to kill people, quickly and easily. Ever heard of a drive-by knifing, or massacre by cricket bat?

I kind of wonder how he can say that without a smile on his face due to the fact half the 11 to 20 million people here illegally crossed through the US U.S.-Mexico border.

Wasn't it you who just said that England now has a knife problem?

If you could predict that guy would be shooting up the office, why didn't you call it in?

I think gun haters actually secretly like these incidents-especially when it happens to people they don't know nor care about-since it gives them more reasons to complain about the gun laws in countries they don't live in.

Apparently the periods of prohibition and the war on drugs are historical items you are ignorant of.

Nothing is stupid about what I said. That said what is stupid is suggesting banning guns made your country safer. Statistics prove they didn't make your country safer
What was it about "...removed one lethal element" that you find troubling your comprehension skills?

But removing that one lethal element did nothing to decrease homicides in your country.

Fewer guns on the street means fewer opportunities to use them to kill people, quickly and easily.

True, however it just means people find other ways to quickly, and easily kill people. Your country's homicide statistics prove that.

Ever heard of a drive-by knifing, or massacre by cricket bat?
I would imagine that most homicide victims killed by a cricket bat or knife the murderer didn't do a drive by just like how in the US most homicide victims are not killed in a drive by.

You'll note that the figures include both violent and non-violent crime. Putting a brick through a shop window is classified as a violent crime. Try again.

Exactly! I'm not cherry picking facts.

England's rape rate is twice that of The United States.

What about British soldiers getting beheaded on your streets while unarmed police stood by and let an old lady handle it. Does that count?

The stupid part is the left seems to think gun control will stop gun violence. It won't. Why is it you think the right believes the left wants to take everyone's guns away? Because of assinine posts such as yours which always imply that if there were no guns there would be no gun violence.

Rather like the stupidity of the right thinking if they ban abortion it will stop abortion.:think:

Abortion has no relevance here other than the fact that many gun banners and abortion banners-have very similar tactics. They both talk about saving "innocent life" when many of them are all about using a ban to punish their political enemies.
