Of course it describes the left. Only leftists can be totalitarians. As Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot have already demonstrated. Rightists are for limited government with specified powers. Right-wingers are most certainly not communist totalitarians, like you have been taught in your leftist indoctrination centers (a.k.a. public schools).

Right-wingers do not seek power. The right seeks to limit government power. Only the left are power mad, as the 100+ million dead at the hands of leftists during the last century can attest.

If they are seeking to gain power, then they clearly are not right-wing. Republicans are constantly being infiltrated by Democrats. Take Trump as an example. Trump only became a Republican in 2012 for the very first time so he could run as a Republican in 2016. Before that Trump was a NYC liberal Democrat who strongly supported Hillary against Obama in 2008.

So just because they wear the Republican label does not mean they are either right-wing or conservative.

Didn't the federal government own the land when these states entered the union? The situation must have been acceptable at the time. If the citizens want to privatize the land, they need to find legal ways to do so, instead of trying to just break their contract.

That was also the case with Mao during his Great Leap Forward that killed 45+ million between 1958 to 1962. Leftist always target anyone who opposes them, which are always the intellectuals and the educated. Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini did precisely the same thing, just like the Democratic Party does today. Everyone who opposes the leftist agenda is the enemy.
