I will be honest, I really don't care why he called that loser a "Macaca".

So I see that you and Sen. Allen are of equal standing when it comes to belittling a young man of color that you've never met, know nothing about and are OK with using a racial slur to demean him. Why am I not in the least surprised?

I will vote for someone who associates with alleged "racists" who supports sound policies over some one who is a leftist any day.

Neither Senator is a racist based on what they said or did decades ago. As you know by reading my posts my point is that the only reason Allen is even in a tight race is his continous blundering and his inability to take ownership for his own words. Had he had any intelligence he would have admitted his faux pas' and moved on, not deny his words, spin his words and make things worse.

The Confederacy fought for independence for a number of sociopolitical reasons, but high on that list was the enslavement of blacks. I just don't see how you can use the Confederate flag as a symbol of the South without seeing it as a symbol of racism.

When the slaves were being brought over what flags did they see on those ships? And when the War of Northern Aggression ended what states still had legal slavery?

Why is it you see some blacks in the south displaying the Confederate battle flag?
