The hypocrisy on this topic is incredible. The same people like yourself, jallman Hutey and others who scream bloody murder about the "rights" of homosexuals even having the audacity to compare their plight to black's history of racism endured and the civil rights movement on the 50s and 60s in this country were the first ones to laugh at racial tension where blacks were the recipient of denigration in this Walmart.
The tolerance you show only goes towards the causes you support. The hypocritical nature of all of this would be amusing if it wasn't so pathetic.
rof I'm ruddy

I think I would know immediately it was a joke. Now, had I been in the store and saw black people upset by the annoucement, I would likely NOT find it funny. But my instinct when I read it was to laugh. If that makes me a bad person, so be it.
There's nothing funny about making such an announcement. I wouldn't take it as a joke whether the announcers had said white's, Asians, Italians, etc. There's nothing humorous about this.
There's not many "African" Americans to speak of. Most black people I know have never set foot in Africa. I know Louisianna Americans, Compton Americans, North Carolina Americans, etc. I think I have known maybe 5 African Americans. That's assuming Gambia is in Africa. I think it is...
What was you first reaction upon seeing this headline?
My first thought was we have two choices here, one is it was done by some racist and was just a not so funny prank done by someone having a private laugh.
Thought number two, was that if any law suit comes up saying something Walmart didn't take the proper measures to insure that this kind of thing can't happen, it was done by either the black person filing the suit or someone connected to the suit in an attempt to get rich quick.
I would say we should know pretty quickly if this is the case.
It also could have been a disgruntled former employee or customer.
I never heard of a Bias Crime.
I think it's really stupid to blame the Store for an act that may have been nothing more than some redneck having fun.
Having a boycott is a racist act un light of not knowing the who, and why of this.
Wana bet a silver donation it was a black person?
If I had been there I would have left the store with the black people, even though I am a white boy.
I was watching the Olympics when it was in Sydney, and the politically correct reporter girl was talking about the female track competitors from Kenya and actually called them "african american africans". No ****.
I kind of embarassed myself at Disneyland on Friday when my partner tried to squeeze into the tram seat next to me and I said, "Oh hell no, there's no room for you here. Get to the back of the bus, Ms. Parks".
Had no idea there was a black family sitting behind me. I was told they were glaring holes through the back of my head.
Some people apparently need a ****ing sense of humor.
I disagree. Although, I agree with the Rev. If it was the Irish it would have been even funnier. One of my favorite movie lines of all-time is the one from Blazing Saddles:
YouTube- Blazing Saddles "We Don't Want the Irish!"
Right around 30 seconds.
