AIDE DETAILS TRUMP’S RAGE ON JAN. 6He Knew Crowd Was Armed, but Tried to Loosen Security, Testimony Recounts

Funny how conservatives always seem allergic to providing actual links.
Especially when citing sources that they would never watch. They won't link because they are reading on gateway pundit or some other hack shit site that "NBC NEWS JUST SAID....!!!1!11!!!" and they don't want to expose to use what that shit link is they are reading.

I mean if your argument is Trump was a straight G fo realz an almost jacked the beast while Biden can’t even ride his bike, that’s probably not the message you want to send voters in 2024

Biden can ride his bike. The accident occurred when he was dismounting, and it is a common accident. I work with a much younger person who broke his hip doing the same thing. But I guess you are just desperate to put down the fragile old man who whipped tough guy Trump in the election.

it’s a safe assumption.

No it's not, it's a stupid assumption. You are approaching rational thought backwards by presuming that because a claim is made, the evidence must exist.

There is nothing in the conduct of the committee so far that would suggest that they would present anything to the public that isn’t verified or attested to.

HAHAHAHAH!!! Uh huh. Given your displayed mental processes with regard to evaluating testimony, your naivete comes as no surprise.

For example: Why did the January 6th committee edit Trump's statement to the crowd to remove his instructions to protest peacefully?

The only questionable thing in yesterday’s testimony was the hearsay claim about trump grabbing the steering wheel, which is almost minor compared to the rest of it.

Well, no. All of her testimony would have left a considerable amount of evidence at the scene of the riot, evidence that doesn't actually exist. there were no stockpiles of weapons, there is no actual communication between Trump's staff and any of the militia groups, and no evidence that Trump tried to commandeer the car to take him to the Capitol. There wasn't a single shot fired by a supposed Trump insurrectionist army... why would that be?

No, Hutchinson’s testimony would not be new to the committee. Taht was my point.

If they heard it first from actual eyewitnesses, then why weren't they on the stand instead of Hutchinson?

But it was sad watching that idiot Flynn take the Fifth when asked if he believed on a peaceful transfer of power. As a co conspirator, he obviously does not.

The fact he fights for normal Americans is a big one.
Except that he doesn't fight for normal Americans. The first policy that Trump tried to pass was replacing Obamacare, which really does help normal Americans, with a plan which would have thrown 20 million Americans off of health insurance, which would devastate normal Americans. In addition, he got rid of the ACA tax on high income Americans that subsidized low income Americans. It would have rolled back much of the ACA's insurance expansion, which currently covers about 20 million people. It does this by making the two big sources of coverage under the law — Medicaid and private individual insurance — less accessible to low- and middle-income Americans. The GOP plan had much lower subsidies for those who buy coverage on the individual market — especially people who are low-income. The Kaiser Family Foundation estimated that, on average, the subsidies in this plan are 36% lower than those in the ACA. This means that it would become harder for people who earn about $20,000 or $30,000 a year to afford coverage if they don’t get it at work. Tell me that's good for normal Americans?

In 2016, Trump said he would take on Wall Street: Wall Street has caused tremendous problems for us. Were going to tax Wall Street. He promised to stop wealthy investment fund managers from getting away with murder by closing the infamous carried interest tax loophole.

But nearly immediately after his election, President Trump began filling his inner circle with Wall Street bankers. His administration has since begun to dismantle the regulations and safeguardson banking that Congress implemented in the wake of the crisis of 2008. By undermining Obama-era rules, the Trump administration has left retirees and investors more vulnerable to rip-offs. Meanwhile, the six biggest U.S. banksGoldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanleyfor the first time saw more than $100 billion in profits in 2018 after already received a staggering $32 billion in tax cuts from the tax law signed by President Trump in 2017. The Trump administration also bowed to lobbyists on the carried interest loophole, which is still being exploited by wealthy fund managers to avoid taxes.

In April 2016, Trump promised, We will keep our jobs and bring in new ones. There will be consequences for the companies that leave the United States only to exploit it later.

Yet the Trump administration has made only a modest update to the North American Free Trade Agreement and has achieved almost none of the United States main objectives with regard to China, most importantly leveling the playing field for American workers. Meanwhile, American businesses and consumers are bearing the financial brunt of the Trump administrations directionless trade war this administrations policies have actually caused a recession in U.S. manufacturing. Jobless rates are rising, and layoffs have continued and even accelerated in some Midwestern states. Farmers, too, are hurting from the trade war, with family farm bankruptcies rising 24 percent in 2019.

His tax law, was tilted towards the wealthy and corporations. It did provide for benefits for the middle class but those benefits were to expire in a few years while the benefits to the rich and corporations were permanent.

So tell us, what specific policies of Trump helped "normal Americans?"

No, I’ve already seen a lot of Democrat lies. That they never vetted. Like they brought Christine Blasey Ford to the Senate committee to testify that she had to install a second front door on her house to escape from Brett Kavanaugh. Except that was a lie. As proven by the building permits.
Just because there wasn't a building permit issued or she did have one doesn't mean there wasn't work done on a house that wasn't on the permit.
a LOT of people do things to their house with out a building permit
Have a nice day

And Trump knew of the violence and wanted to join it, and even lead them in, RIGHT??? You can prove all that correct?
I'm picturing something similar to Washington crossing the Delaware, with Qnon, Proud Boys, and Up with People carrying the boat.

Of course, he wanted it. He used the word "fight" in the pre-Capitol riot speech twenty-two times.

His one little "peacefully" blurb was intended to cover his ass.

(And don't reply with that stupid video of random people saying the word "fight". It's a lame rebuttal.)
Of course, we all know that "fight", especially when used in political speech, only means a physical altercation.

What does that mean, you are still good with SC justices being threatened?

What are you talking about with the pregnancy centers?

Yeah, when someone like Trump uses the word fight 22 times in a speech about his political humiliation it's almost always metaphorical. /s

She specifically testified she had a second front door installed on her house because of her trauma of having her boob touched outside her clothes by Kavanaugh, and that she did this in 2012.

That was a lie, she did in 2008 and it was part of partitioning her house to rent part of it out, the door was a legally required seperate entrance

Except Trump didn't 'take out' any SS according to Hutchinson...

Excuse me sir, can I interest you in some free lessons on satire?

Seems to me the transfer of power happens on a different day. But yes there was violence on that day. There were also objections to the election that were never heard because of the violence that day. A long shot, for sure. But it is rare to have a proper objection from a House member, signed by a member of the Senate. The Democrats tried it in 2000, but couldn't get a member of the Senate to sign.
Missing the point. The violence was on the 6th. To prevent the certification of the election. Which is part of the transfer of power. Obviously Biden didn't actually take the reigns until inauguration.

He knows this. They all know this. They are arguing out of bad faith.

This news is shocking only to those who didn't see the obvious. Donald Trump has always been like this and it was always obvious what he is.
I think we lefty's always knew and were ringing the alarm bell but what is "news" to us is watching the proof of what we knew brought into the light with as much lying and covering up the right has done to bury it all with denials and dismissals. Just seeing those witness tampering texts about "We know you are on team trump and will do the right thing in your testimony" feels so vindicating.

Yeah but can Biden smash a porceline plate of chicken fingers against the wall?

I see my point went WAY over your head.
Have a nice day
