AIDE DETAILS TRUMP’S RAGE ON JAN. 6He Knew Crowd Was Armed, but Tried to Loosen Security, Testimony Recounts

You haven't actually provided proof which of the presidential cars he was riding in that day. The president makes use of both the Cadillac and the Chevy, your own source states that.
Watch the damn hearing. They showed the video in it.

This is not a court of law. However, should people be charged, then yeah, we'll need to hear from the detail with Trump that day.
It’s a bad look to have hearsay used in this format. The conservatives need no ammunition.

It’s already underway:

Not the best source, but we’ll see.

Hmm, so were the two people the witness described lying or misleading her when they told that story in her presence?
They never told it in her presence.

Trump wasn’t in the limousine and the limousine has an airtight partition between the driver and the riders. So the claim that Trump tried to Jack the beast is clearly bullshit
What partition? The one trump has the only button to?

No Idea. However I am always a bit suspicious of 2nd and 3rd hand information. Someone may have either lied or embellished. I am more likely to believe first hand testimony, especially when it comes from the two secret service agents that were there, including the one Trump allegedly lunged at.
Which is definitely why we should focus on the rest of her story instead of this unimportant crap about allegedly assaulting a secret service agent.

I see. That wasn't clear, but I see that now. The first article is paywalled.

Again, I find the limo story unlikely. I doubt Trump would want to, or be allowed to (for security reasons), ride in the front seat of the presidential limo. Cute story for a tabloid or tell-all, but unlikely and not relevant.
I briefly watched the 1st Jan 6 TV presentation & it seemed more like a 3rd Trump impeachment than anything else.
I do think they did dent Trump's armor slightly & if you look at "predictit" odd for the Republican nomination in 2024
DeSantis took the lead over Trump for the first time last week, Liz Cheney & her group IMO contributed to this happening.

But really, I like watching 'Rocky' in 1976 but Rocky 2,3, 4 & 5 not so much. How many more Jan 6 sequels are they going
to bore me with. Sequels tend to have les & less impact. If this Jan 6 was born out of a way to prevent Trump from running
in 2024 it was unsuccessful, I think the abortion ruling by Scotus did much more damage to Trump because of the 3
judges he put on the court.

Whatever their motive it backfired terribly DeSantis as the nominee has IMO an 85% chance to win in 2024 while
I think Trump's chances are no more than 50/50!

BTW, this Jan 6 stuff isn't rejuvinating the Lizzerd's political career, predictit has Liz chances of keeping her seat in the house at 7%.

AIDE DETAILS TRUMP’S RAGE ON JAN. 6

He [Trump] Knew Crowd Was Armed, but Tried to Loosen Security, Testimony Recounts

WASHINGTON — President Donald J. Trump knew the crowd he amassed in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, was armed and could turn violent, but wanted security precautions lifted because he said his supporters were not there to attack him, according to a junior White House aide who testified on Tuesday to the House committee investigating the attack.

In extraordinary blow-by-blow testimony based on episodes she witnessed in the West Wing of the White House, Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to Mark Meadows, the former chief of staff, revealed that the president had demanded to march to the Capitol with his supporters even as the riot was underway, at one point trying to grab the steering wheel of the presidential limo from a Secret Service agent when he was told he could not go.
...
The shocking description of Trump wrestling the Secret Service for control of his car on Jan. 6 so he could go to the Capitol. Portraying Meadows, her former boss, as a man who abdicated responsibility to the nation and hoped to be pardoned. And saying Trump knew that his supporters had dangerous weapons when he asked them to march on Congress.

=========

Cassidy Hutchinson: Trump knew Jan. 6 rally attendees had weapons, but didn't care

This is a smoking gun. Trump actively attempted to overthrow the election in many ways. In the end, he wanted to join the Capitol rioters and wanted to have metal detectors dismantled so that the rioters could enter. His words: "They aren't going to hurt me."

Yeah, not him, just democracy.
The trouble with the dog and pony show hearings. The minority side has no way to questions
the witness tell thy tales. The show is a one sided propaganda blitz!

The Secret Service released a statement after the hearing on Tuesday. "The United States Secret Service has been cooperating with the Select Committee since its inception in spring 2021, and will continue to do so, including by responding on the record to the Committee regarding the new allegations surfaced in today's testimony," the statement says.

Engel and the driver of the SUV who gave Trump a ride back to the White House from the rally on Jan. 6 are prepared to testify under oath that "neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel," NBC News reporter Peter Alexander tweeted, citing a source close to the Secret Service. And Ornato "denies telling Cassidy Hutchinson that the former president grabbed the steering wheel or an agent on his detail," CNN's Shimon Prokupecz tweeted, citing a Secret Service official.

How about if the House were to run it like real hearings rather then the kangaroo court they are putting on now. Today's so-called bombshell was about an alleged assault on a secret service agent and grabbing a sterring wheel. If someone lied about that, no telling what else they lied about. The secret service agents and the driver are willing to testify that it is for all practical purposes another case of "Fake News".

wasn’t Trump willing to testify that he didn’t know Hutchinson?

She was there, right? That seems strange

Narrator: She wasn't there

That was not the bombshell, that's what right wing media is trying to get you to focus on because it's the least damning.

Try to keep up. She claimed it was second hand info. She was not there. And Trump did not claim he did not know here. He claimed he barely knew of her.

If you tell me that Nancy Pelosi is really bad at symbolic gestures, like, shambolic bad, I'm not going to run to the internets to tell stories about the people spreading those tales. It will never occur to me to satisfy a need for Pelosi to be made whole.

Odd, that Trumpers have to do this so reflexively for their guy.

It turns out that Donald Trump isn't a good person.

he has been a real scumbag for YEARS AND YEARS
not paying his bills and shorting the people that did work for him
YES he has been nothing but a scumbag for YEARS
Have a nice night

That was the bombshell. or was it the ketchup on the wall that may or may not have happened?
He tried to get metal detectors removed, you don't find that even slightly interesting?
