Thank you for posting the schedule for today.

Simply calling this a "unnecessary waste of taxpayer money" is not the issue. This suggestion that that is the argument against this ignores the core issue, which the damage (not physical, but in terms of the stature of the US) this will cause. The symbolism and image of this is un-American. It is an anathema to everything that America has been for 250 years. Moreover, it will merely encourage Trump to use the military in ways that were never intended by an patriotic American today.
The waste of money is the least of the damages here.... which, btw, will be less than Trump calling up the NG and dispatching the Marines to LA last week.
Will each of them also involve el Taco DoGE spending 45M dollars to celebrate? It's the 250th Anniversary of the US Army.
There's a lot of 250th anniversaries that will happen during the Trump administration, so dial back the anxiety. I wouldn't ant you to hyperventilate.
He does. And acts like he’s losing his marbles.Trump, The Anti-Christ, looks every bit of 79.
Love a JT show. He is awesome, and a national treasure. I understand Tanglewood is an amazing place to see him. Enjoy!Heading up to Tanglewood for the 4th of July in the Berkshires to visit friends and see James Taylor.
The United Kingdom is not ruled by a king..... nor are any of the European countries that still have monarchs. Maintaining a monarchy does not mean the monarch rules. In fact, of the 37 countries that have monarchies, almost ALL of them have nominal to no participation in actually governance. They are mostly ceremonial. It is funny and over some peoples' heads.
There are 31 countries ruled by kings, with 15 under King Charles III and 16 with distinct monarchs.
I live in Colorado, I don't watch TV on Saturdays... Is it even being broadcast? I thought networks were obsessed with attaining high ratings. Maybe some upstart network that lacks content will give it a look. There are, however, more than a dozen "No Kings" protests across our state.Too bad you never learned to appreciate a military parade.
Don't watch it on TV. Find something else to do.
I knew that democrat weather machine was going to pay off.
The Navy and Marine Corps are marking the same age, a little later this year, are there plans for their parades? It's the 250th Anniversary of the US Army.

Shouldn’t you be more focused on the End Times?hey i like it. stop the Parade this weekend and send the Left rioters and looters home...
i like yur idea.
it's like making america truly great, but we can't call it that, because then there would be more Riots over improving the country. seems like a Catch 22 suggestion the more i think about it.
but it could work. maybe if the corrupt Blue team sponsored it and got the Rioting Left to help out?
sorry, you got me Dreaming.
.
Of course, but like all things Trump, he is only interested in what a person, a company, an institution, a country can do for him personally. He loves "his" military; the American army, not so much...When he refused to go in the rain to honor the war dead?
That is not what this is about and, as a smart guy, you know it. You do realize that being disingenuous is a form lying. It's the 250th Anniversary of the US Army.

Why? I love my country. Is it perfect? No, but it's not your concern and yeah, a foreigner who shouts, you're the enemy will continue to be called out for their juvenile, unfriendly, unAmerican ranting.
I already addressed the above. Even quoted their posts twice for you.
I don't pretend to be a victim. I simply do not suffer fools. Anyone who calls me an enemy just because they hate our president is a fool. See, that's my prerogative to refute nonsense.
I've changed my mind about Canadians being polite. On this forum, those who hate our president, and mock my government, and call people like me their enemy are not polite people.
Good night, OlNate.
This is not a statement of care. It's just another hateful Trump rant, and you used me to bounce it off.
The parade is none of your concern. What we do or don't do is none of your concern. You won't watch. You don't care. You just want to mock a country whose president has the authority to celebrate by giving a parade. Carry on, Olfriend.
Uh huh. Trump just suddenly cares about the "suckers and losers."That doesn't mean it has anything to do with his birthday.
With all the No Kings events going on, which seem to be fun, energetic, peaceful and engaging, I won’t be paying as much attention to Donald’s rainy parade.Just read that they're going to go ahead with it, even in a thunderstorm.
I, too, have no wish to watch unlucky troops trudge around in class As in the rain. With all the No Kings events going on, which seem to be fun, energetic, peaceful and engaging, I won’t be paying as much attention to Donald’s rainy parade.
???Uh huh. Trump just suddenly cares about the "suckers and losers."
Just because you are non-specific that doesn't mean you aren't being insulting. It's hilarious to me that you continually try to hide behind being offended and still engage with the forum like this.A lot of angry, unhinged types of replies on this thread.
Do you like to watch Russian, Chinese and North Korean military parades? Is it the goose stepping that thrills you?Too bad you never learned to appreciate a military parade.
Don't watch it on TV. Find something else to do.
Of course it doesn’t. But it has a lot to do with Trump’s ego. And the thought of a him honoring the military while having suggested that they war crimes and pardoning those who did , whom the military prosecuted is a bit of a contradiction, don’t you think? That doesn't mean it has anything to do with his birthday.
Hi Bodecea,
Sorry, but I think many of the younger 'Viewers' have no idea what this stands for.
ChatGPT summerized it for me as follows:
'Tank Man' refers to the anonymous Chinese protester who stood in front of a column of tanks on June 5, 1989, the day after the Chinese military violently suppressed pro-democracy protests in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. The man, carrying shopping bags, became a global symbol of peaceful resistance when he blocked the tanks' path, even climbing on one to speak to the soldiers. His identity and fate remain unknown. The image is one of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century but is heavily censored within China.
For those interested, A short, but quite informative, story from a photographer. His story, his view.
Joey
The man was holding his shopping bags. He was confused after coming out of a shop and wandered out into the square. He wasnt a protester.
He didnt die, they just went around him.
