About Trump's Parade

The military parade scheduled for June 14th is.....

  • Total voters
    83
  • Poll closed .
Hi Lursa,

If you mean that he did not die because of that incident with the tank, yes, you are absolutely right. But you were not being very clear. So if you mean that you know he did not die afterwards, can you please provide a link? I have always heard that he was taken away and nobody knows who he is or if he still lives. The cameraman also says that in the video if I am not mistaken. Led away on the side walk. I have always hoped he survived, but I think the chances are slim.

Joey

I hope it rains and almost nobody shows-up to watch.

Let's then see Trump try and claim the worlds largest crowd while they have pictures of a few people standing huddled in the rain.

He's already done that at his first inauguration.

Threw several hissy fits, soiled his panties and turned his press chief into a liar day one!

Trump, The Anti-Christ, looks every bit of 79.

Heading up to Tanglewood for the 4th of July in the Berkshires to visit friends and see James Taylor. My Berkshires’ hosts sent me a Protest Photo last night.

Please take a minute and look up View attachment 67574614View attachment 67574615View attachment 67574616time and location of a “No Kings Protest” in your community. Viva the American Flag, with much gratitude to the American Army on the Army’s 250th Birthday.

Viva too to the Anti-Trump Movement!
Just returned home from the No Kings Protest. Thousands of people showed up, lining both sides of the town's Main Street, in a suburban town, in the rain....All ages, peacefully assembled, great signs and great energy.

No Kings. Show up.
Thanks for the invitation. Since there are no Kings in The U.S.A. I think, it would be a waste of my time.
I, prefer watching the historic 250th anniversary when the Second Continental Congress voted to establish The Continental Army.
Which happened more than a year before the signing of The Declaration of Independence.

After the signing of The Declaration of Independence King George the 3rd the King of England was the last king.

“On June 14, 1775, the Second Continental Congress voted to establish the Continental Army. This action marked the creation of America’s first national military force, more than a year before the signing of the Declaration of Independence.”

“For 250 years, the United States Army has played a vital role in defending America. From the Revolutionary War to the present day, Americans have served selflessly–many sacrificing their lives–in defense of the country. Our service members’ courage, loyalty, and dedication have inspired generations. At the same time, Army-led innovations and breakthroughs–from radar and the internet to everyday items like wireless communications–have advanced our national security, transformed global commerce, and propelled America’s economic competitiveness.”

Not up current events, eh?

Anyone who thinks that parade was to honor the military is delusional.
To put the parade in the correct perspective:
"Anyone who thinks that parade was to honor the military is proud of our military and patriotic".
Hundreds of thousands of attendees felt pride on our nation's military history.
And, yes, they recognized it was Flag Day and Trump's birthday.
I am so glad I don't have such an anti-Trumper attitude to where I look down on a military parade because it is on the same day as the birthday of our duly elected president.

I'm equally glad millions turned out across the nation to protest Donald's $45M birthday parade, as is their Constitutional right - a right our military is tasked to protect. :)

I agree with you. As long as such protest gatherings are peaceful, then those people, with their limited critical thinking skills, have a right to protest against a government led by a duly elected president.
Those people with a limited view of our history will have an opportunity next year to exercise a most important privilege. That is to vote out of office Congressional representatives they don't want and put in place representatives that share their misguided ideology.
That's the American way.
And that is what the U.S. Army is there to protect.

Here's hoping the No Kings sentiment carries into 2026, and the midterms remove every last Trumplican sycophant who enables Donald's idiocy and corruption. :)

Everyone in the main stand stood up at attention for the National Anthem and then.......................they played Happy Birthday to the rapey felon.

You and the Democratic Party are wandering in the desert searching for a leader and a message for the people.

The current incarnation of the Democratic party is indeed feckless.

But they have a history of finding relative unknowns who rise to prominence. Hopefully lightning strikes again soon, for the sake of the nation.

As for me? I will support any candidate that opposes Trumpism, regardless of their party affiliation. If the GOP ever rediscovers its brains, balls, and integrity, such a candidate may rise from their ranks. Stranger things have happened.

Better than MAGATS et al blindly and mindlessly following a false KING into the literal toxic landscapes Trump is creating as he destroys our Constitution and our Nation.

So there is that.

Tens of millions dollars for a parade - that will also likely cause millions if not tens of millions of dollars in damage to the streets of DC.

But…we have to cut off food stamps for families because of the debt and deficit 🙄
Actually a lot of the money came from the private sector.
Besides the government this....funding sources include corporate sponsors like UFC, Palantir, Coinbase, and Phorm Energy

Pay to Play in the KING'S good graces.

Even at that, the entire needless and wasteful ordeal was designed solely to STROKE the KING'S orange ego.

Who currently has the political power which the Democrats are still desperately seeking.
How is the Constitution being destroyed? There have been suits, counter-suits, and appeals. Isn't that the way the legal system is supposed to work?
Of course, as a member of the doom-and-gloomers, you have to regularly parrot the Left to let everyone know the ski is falling and it's only a matter of time before we all get hit by a piece of the sky.

Count me in as a vote for JD Vance in 2028.
The country could do a lot worse now that Newsom and Kamala are still on the political stage for 2028.

Count me out - JD hardly represents a GOP recovery of brains, balls, and integrity. He turned in his man card to "America's Hitler" (his words) long ago.

Fixed it for ya.
