Regardless, contrary to the thread title, the abortion issue is helping Democrats. That's the timing SCOTUS chose. How much it's helping is anyone's guess, but without Dobbs, it wouldn't even be an issue.

It would not be like getting arrested for using an inappropriate pronoun. There are legislatures in all the anti-abortion states that are working on laws to criminalize abortion including abortions gotten out of state.

They were arrested and jailed for campaigning for voting rights, the right to buy contraceptives, the right to legal abortions, the right to equal pay, the right to unionize. On the one hand, I want the Republicans to lose as many races as they can.

On the other, I kind of hope they win and implement the only “solutions” they know: massive tax cuts for the rich and massive spending cuts for programs that help everyone else.

When they make the rich richer and poor Americans who are already struggling become desperately poor, it’ll drive more Americans towards opposing capitalism.

So when you suggest Republican greed will cause Americans to "oppose capitalism," I think it's more accurate to say it would cause American to oppose Republicans. Because Democrats don't oppose capitalism, they oppose exploitation of the weak by the powerful.

Capitalism remains the powerful engine which creates the wealth we are all scabbling over.

The only people I hear talking about and objecting to the trans-gendered are conservatives. They represent 1.5% of the entire population of the US. Why are you people so worried and upset about this tiny fraction of the population?
