My hat's off to the DeKalb, IL basketball team. They have made me rethink my overall opinion of Fibs.

And to think for the past week or so all the ESPN coverage has been on the two teams in Alabama that went postal.
Where there are humans fighting, there are other humans making friendships. The dynamic of humanity will surprise you, whether it be for good or bad... until humans are no longer human, then we have to weather the bad, if we want to bask in the good.

Can I tell you. I've read this article 3 times today and teared up each time.
Both of these coaches should be awarded "coach of the year".
The one for understanding that it was worth getting dinged with a technical foul for letting the kid into the game
and the other for having the human dignity and sense to not take advantage of the technical.

I would like to THINK that most coaches would have done the same thing under these circumstances, but in this day and age....I'm not so sure.
